The Death Penalty
The Death Penalty magnify

Do you believe in the Death Penalty?

Is the death penalty acceptable to God?

Lets see what the Bible says on this subject!

Now during the law of Moses the Bible tells us that it was an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth.

Now that the law of Moses has been taken away when Christ died on the cross lets see if an eye for an eye and tooth for a tooth is still to be followed according to New Testament commandments.

To be continued .....

The TRUTH about Baptism
The TRUTH about Baptism magnify
Many still don't believe that you have to be Baptized in order to be Saved, but the Lord Jesus Christ tells us quite plainly that in order to be Saved we MUST be Baptized.
Jesus says: (Mark 16:16) He that believeth and is Baptized shall be Saved he that believeth not shall be damned.
Jesus says: (John 3:5) Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
Jesus says that we "must Believe on him", if we do not Believe what he tells us then we do not Believe on him, therefore we are condemned.
Jesus says: (John 3:18) He that Believeth on him is not condemned: but he that Believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not Believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jesus is the Ultimate Authority on how to obtain Salvation, because he was the one that died on the cross for our sins.
So if Jesus tells us that we MUST be Baptized in order to be Saved then that is what we MUST do.
The Apostle Peter also said that Baptism Saves.
Peter says: (I Peter 3:18-21) For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit: By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;

Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also NOW save us.

The Apostle Paul says: (Galatians 3:27) For as many of you as have been Baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
Paul tells us that through Baptism we are forgiven of all of our trespasses.
Paul says: (Colossians 2:11-13) In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ:

Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;

So according to the Bible we cannot be forgiven our trespasses unless we are Baptized, nor can we "Put on Christ" unless we are Baptized, nor can we be Saved unless we are Baptized.

Ask Yourself This Question >>>>>

Must We Be Baptized For The Forgiveness Of Our Sins?

In the second chapter of Acts, Peter had convicted the people there of having killed the Son of God. In verse 37 their question was, "Men and brethren what shall we do?" In Acts 2:38 (KJV), "Then Peter said unto them, repent and be baptized everyone of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of your sins." Here people were told to repent and be baptized for the remission of their sins. Note that baptism comes before the remission of sins. Only when we submit to baptism as the Lord has commanded, that is for the remission of sins to be saved, do we show our faith in the Lord. Only then will He save us.

Man has a sin problem. God says in Isaiah 59:2 "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; and your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear." It is our sins that separate us from God. We are to repent and be baptized for the remission of our sins. This is God's instruction on how we solve our sin problem. In the above verse, when Peter told them to "Repent and be baptized for the remission of sins," whatever repentance is for in that verse, baptism is for the same reason. Repent and be baptized are joined by the coordinating conjunction and, which joins words of equal grammatical importance.

Certainly Acts 2:38 does not teach that lost people are to repent because they have already received forgiveness of their sins. Neither does it teach that lost people are to be baptized because their sins are already forgiven. Satan would like you to believe that baptism has nothing to do with the forgiveness of your sins. Have you been baptized for the remission of your sins? Again, the choice is yours; either believe what God has said and be saved, or believe what men say and you will continue to be lost. We only have two choices, and the choice that we make will have eternal consequences. But please make the right choice so you can go to Heaven.

In the book of Acts we have the account of the conversion of the Apostle Paul. In Acts chapter 9, Paul is traveling on the road up to Damascus to persecute Christians. The Lord appears to Paul on the road and strikes him blind. In verse 5 he tells Paul, "I am Jesus whom you are persecuting." In verse 6 Paul asks, "Lord what do you want me to do? Then the Lord said to him (Paul), Arise and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do." The Lord did not tell Paul what he must do, but that someone in the city would tell him what he must do. In Acts 9:9, after Paul went into the city, "And he was three days without sight, and neither ate nor drank." Paul was worried sick and very upset. He had just found out that all the years in his zeal, while persecuting the Lord's church, he had actually been persecuting the Lord. Paul was devastated and broken-hearted in finding out that he had been religiously wrong all these years.

Let's see now what Paul was told what he must do. In Acts chapter 22, a man named Ananias, who was sent by the Lord, came to Paul and miraculously restored Paul's eyesight. Notice what Paul was told by Ananias what he must do. Acts 22:16, "And now why are you waiting? Arise, and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord." Paul was not saved three days earlier while on the road to Damascus, as some people would like for us to believe. Paul up to this point was still lost, because he still had all his sins that needed to be washed away. Paul still had a sin problem. Note that baptism came before his sins were washed away. Obedience to the Lord's command to be baptized was necessary to wash away Paul's sins.

At the point of baptism every sin that we have ever committed will be taken away, if it is done for that purpose. Many people today have been baptized in order to be added to some denomination, but not for the remission of their sins. Have you been baptized for the purpose of having your sins washed away? If you have not, then you still have a sin problem. You are still lost.

Paul was not told "to pray the sinners prayer and ask Jesus to come into his heart in order to be saved." This is completely foreign to the scripture. You cannot find anywhere in the Bible where anyone was ever told to do this. Since God in the Bible has never told anyone "To pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart in order to be saved", who else but men could have come up with such an idea? Forgiveness occurs in the mind of God and not on the basis of man's feeling in his heart. Only when we have done what God has said that we MUST do, will God forgive our sins. We cannot devise our own plan as to how our sins are to be forgiven. To be baptized for any reason other than for the remission of sins so one can be saved is to reject Christ.

Do not misunderstand. We do not "earn" our salvation by being baptized. Salvation is a gift from God. Even though salvation is a free gift from God, he has laid down certain conditions upon which he will give it. One condition to receive his gift is faith: Hebrews 11:6, "But without faith it is impossible to please Him." Another condition of his free gift is repentance: Luke 13:3, "Unless you repent you will all likewise perish." Another condition is baptism: Mark 16:16, "He who believes and is baptized will be saved." Still another condition is living a faithful Christian life: Revelation 2:10, "Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life." The conditions include doing all "the will of the Father," Matthew 7:21. These are God's conditions. Believing in God and Christ with all our heart, repenting of all our sins, confessing Christ and being baptized are all equally important to our salvation. If any one of these is lacking, then we will not be saved. You can't have one without the others.

There is nothing that we can do to merit our salvation. Whether it be believing in Jesus or being baptized, we can never "earn our salvation". Our salvation is free, but it is not cheap. It cost the very own life of God's Son. The only way we can show our faith in Christ is if we are willing to accept and obey all of what He says. We are only saved through faith when our faith has produced the works of obedience. If we really have faith in Christ, then we will do anything and everything He tells us. But if our faith is lacking we will balk at Christ's commands such as being baptized for the forgiveness of our sins to be saved. Since we have sinned against God, it is for God to dictate the terms of our pardon. It is in baptism that God has chosen to impart his wonderful grace of salvation to us as a willing believer. God's gift of salvation must be accepted on His terms, not ours.

According to the Bible, it is at the point of baptism, that we pass from an unsaved state into a saved state. In other words, at the time of baptism, we go from being unsaved to being saved. We read in I Peter 3:21 (KJV), "The like figure whereunto even baptism does also now save us." The Bible says that "baptism does now also save us," but men say that "baptism does not save us." This is very similar to the situation of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. God in Genesis 2:17 told them not to eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, "For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die." But Satan told Eve in Genesis 3:4, "Then the serpent said to the woman, you will not surely die." Satan only added the one word "not" to what God had said and completely changed the meaning. That is what men are doing to God's commands today. Who are you going to accept, the word of men or the Word of God? We are told in Acts 5:29, "We ought to obey God rather than men." On the Day of Judgment, the Bible will still say that "baptism does also now save us." Again the choice is yours, but it is very serious. We dare not make the wrong choice which will have eternal consequences.

Counterfeits in Religion
Counterfeits in Religion magnify

There are many ways that Satan leads man astray, one way he does this is through religion. Satan twists and perverts Gods word by adding and taking away from Gods TRUTHS thus creating FALSE Counterfeits in religion.

Today we will be proving from the Bible just how Satan accomplishes this and how many are led down the wrong paths while following Satans Religious Counterfeits.

First we need to understand that Satan himself likes to masquerade as God but there is only ONE TRUE God and ONLY ONE Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Genuine / God / Christ:

I Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus.

Satan the son of perdition will try to exalt himself as God using deceit and vain Worship through his many Counterfeit Religious denominations.

II Thess 2:3-4

Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Satans many denominations claim they are of God, by using False Christs and False Prophets thereby deceiving man.

Matt 24:24

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Spirit:

Satans Churches are Go to the Church of your Choice Churches, But God tells us that:

Eph 4:4

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

That one body is the Church of Christ that one Spirit, is the one TRUE God, The Lord Jesus Christ.

However Satan tries to keep man lost by creating many denominational false Spirits.

I John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.

Angels:

According to God every Counterfeit Religion of Satans shall not continue to stand as Gods Angels will remove them.

Matt 13:41

The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

But everyday a NEW counterfeit religion is created by Satan as he pretends to be an angel of light.

II Cor 11:14

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Apostles:

Just as Christ has his Apostles, Luke 6:13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;

Satan also has gathered himself Apostles, Yet Satans Apostles move to confuse, pervert, and trample on the very truths of Gods written word.

II Cor 11:13

For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ

Teachers:

.

Satan appoints his own denominational Ministers to further lead men away from God and his truth. As in teaching men the Counterfeit sinners prayer for Salvation.

II Peter 2:1

But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

II Cor 11:15

Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works

However Gods teachers are the only REAL Ministers of righteousness and the only ones that can teach of Christs true Salvation through water Baptism.

Matt 28:19

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Gospel

Gods Ministers are Soldiers boldly proclaiming the TRUE Gospel of Christ.

Romans 1:16

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Gods soldiers teach Gods word correctly, to the good of man.

Gal 6:6

Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.

Satans Ministers preach another Gospel that is not of Christ.

II Cor 11:4

For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

Satans Ministers shall reap their just rewards for preaching false doctrines.

Gal 6:7-8

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Miracles:

Satans Ministers of today pretend to be Holy by using signs, wonders and miracles.

Rev 16:14

For they are the spirits of devils, working miracles, which go forth unto the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.

Jesus did Miracles to PROVE that he was the Real Messiah.

John 2:11

This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.

Church:

Satan has started many denominational Churches that continue to lead man astray and away from God.

But what Christ did not build will not stand and shall be rooted up.

Matt 15:13

But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up

The Church of Christ is the only TRUE Church that Jesus built and Christ is the head of his Church.

Eph 1:22

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church.

Any Church that is NOT a Church of Christ is the synagogue of Satan.

Rev 2:9

I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Baptism:

Satans Churches teach that Baptism is a work and therefore not essential for Salvation, This is a FALSE teaching brought on by Satans Ministers and Satans many Counterfeit Religions.

Yet, Christs teachings prove that Baptism IS essential for Salvation for without Baptism there is NO forgiveness of sins for mankind.

Eph 4:5 Acts 2:38

One Lord, one faith, one baptism.

Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Worship:

Satans denominations use many different forms of Worship, yet God demands only ONE form of Worship of which he will accept, anything less makes mans Worship to be in vain.

Matt 15:9

But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

John 4:24 Rev 22:14

God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Dont be fooled by Satans Counterfeits in Religion, Search Gods word daily for Gods truths.

Gods TRUE Church: The Church of Christ (Romans 16:16)

Gods TRUE Salvation:

Hear the Gospel (Rom 10:17)

Believe the Gospel (Heb 11:6)

Repent of Sins (Luke 13:3)

Confess Christ (Matt 10:32)

Be Baptized for remission of sins (Mark 16:16)
