Beverly Hills Chihuahua- Dogs rules box office
All right, Beverly Hills Chihuahua ruled the box office chart. I am not sure about the attraction of this movie. This movie is unlike some of the other movies such as: Homeward Bound and 101 Dalmatians etc.

About Beverly Hills Chihuahua: While on vacation in Mexico, Chloe, a ritzy Beverly Hills chihuahua, finds herself lost and in need of assistance in order to get back home.

Maybe I like dogs or stories that are down to earth or homeward bound warm and fuzzy at heart.

Here is the trailer below:

Paul Newman- 1925-2008
Paul Newman- 1925-2008 magnify
Cat on a Hot Tin Roof was the first movie I remembered of Paul Newman. His salad dressing faces were second. He will remembered both as an actor, a good man to his family and a good global citizen to his world the best that he know that he could.
It was not his looks that people like, it was his do the talk that gets millions respect and loves him.

The Singing Revolution- a documentary
The Singing Revolution traces the history of Estonia and the Baltic region from its very roots between 5,000 to 8,000 years ago through to the Singing Revolution. It tells of the conquests that Germans, Danes, Swedes, Poles and Russians had over the country and the many hands that this small nation passed through over the centuries.

The movie concentrates on acts of peaceful defiance of Estonians against their Russian occupiers through peaceful protests. The story is one of the step-by-step reestablishment of Estonians independence without violence and through mass demonstrations of unity and singing.

Interestingly enough: this film was made over a few years ago and have not seen much a light of a day around festival buzzes. With today's technology, Internet advertising does the goods to put the documentary out to the general public. I do hope people would visit the webpage and ask for a screening.

The Biggest Chinese Restaurant in the World
This is a documentary about a big restaurant in China.
At the head of the West Lake Restaurant is the unstoppable Mrs. Qin Linzi, whose hard life saw her working in a quarry when she was twelve. Today she is so committed to building her empire that her personal and professional lives have merged completely: she married her chauffeur, perhaps because he was the only man with whom she spent time alone. Her customers are China's rising middle class, who spend their newfound wealth celebrating birthdays and anniversaries while the restaurant seeks inventive ways to sell them more services. Mrs. Qin's workers range from desperate to ambitious, all trying to get their own foothold on the bottom rung of the economic ladder.
It was at the Toronto International Film Festival and Sundance Film Festival.
