Lately, I have been thinking of a friend of long ago. I met her when I lived in Saudi Arabia. We really meshed and enjoyed being together. Do to extreme personal emergency our family left SA and moved back to USA. I missed her and later she and her family moved to the same state we were living in. We met up, renewed our friendship and visited each other even tho we were several hours of travel apart. The last time I saw her was at her wedding to another friend we met in SA. My husband and I witnessed their wedding. We moved to Oregon and lost touch. Then when we moved to AZ, I was able to contact her through email. But in our emails we didn't really reach out and embrace each other, so we didn't reach out again. I wonder what she is up to these days. Where she is now and if she is still married to our other friend. I miss having friends.
