See ya there!
I've been creating digital photomanipulation designs now since November 2006 and have found another medium I'm totally engrossed in.
Yesterday I decided to combine these designs with my 5/7/5 HAIKU, trying to match HAIKU I've already written with a work while I'm creating it....a challenge I took a lot of enjoyment from...created 3 works so far.
The one shown here is titled, "Nautical HAIKU". To see more of these HAIKU works, visit my website at www.redladyart.com
Have a creative day!

The sculpture shown here is a Java Salt Dough sculpture I designed for a juried exhibit at Ghost Town Arts Collective. The exhibit theme is "NEW", so I worked in a NEW medium (for me that is) and created NEW works. The exhibit opening is Feb. 17th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm with performance arts at 7:00pm.
I've submitted 2 sculptures to the exhibit. The one shown here is titled, "SHAMAN", a primitive Native American themed sculpture depicting the shaman of the tribe. The other sculpture is titled, "Trail of Tears" and is also of a Native American theme, depicting the historical Trail of Tears and the emotions of those times in the Native American life. These sculptures are VERY different from my usual work, but I see myself evolving in my art and am having so much fun working in different mediums and with different styles. I don't want my work to be predictible at any given time.
The 3rd piece I submitted is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting titled, "Kachina Dance #2", the 2nd painting I've done based on this style/theme. You can see the first one on my website (it's smaller).
The sculpture shown here is titled, "Agony of Life"; not a "pretty" sculpture, but a thought-provoking one. Depicts the human condition and how we all must suffer some type of agony, whether emotional or physical in our life time. It is inevitable.
This sculpture will be exhibited in the Progressive Energy Art Gallery in New Port Richey, Florida. The exhibit titled, "A Woman's Work is Never Done" will be showcasing art from the WWAO (Worldwide Women Artists Online) group I am a juried member of.
The 2nd sculpture I submitted is titled, "Grab Hold of Life #2", self-explanatory once you see the pic........grab hold of life! You only get one chance! Be all you can be! Visit the link below to see the 2nd sculpture.....
