This photo of a storm was taken from the Kia-Ora Lookout, a 5 minute drive north of Gloucester. After many snapshots, I finally managed to photograph a lightning flash. The view is looking South West over the Gloucester Valley, on the right (west) are the begining of the Bucketts Ranges.

The best of both worlds. Sure is hard to beat, is'nt it.. A dam full of Rainbow Trout at an altitude of 1219 meters (4000 ft). The view from the front door is breath-taking. The Rainbow Trout put up a good fight & are real tastey. The DX is great. (when the band is open)
