Boys soccer won tonight! Too bad aaron's at law school in MI; the boys NEVER won a game we watched last year.
I should be at 100% with my back in 1-2 months, says my physical therapist!!!!! Very excited at that prospect.
Excited to see family visiting tomorrow, especially since grandma B will be along, should be fun - and it's just good policy to stay connected w/ family (like this blog for example!). Unfortunately, a few months ago I signed up for a beach cleanup that is also tomorrow, so I'll only get to do that for a max of 2 hours -- it's ok though, having family drive down just to visit is such a rarity, and the timing won't soon be conducive, so we're ok.
Got some exams next week, wish me luck!
I'll be coming home next weekend due to church duties.

Picked up Color Guard duties on top of my Recruiting and Retention Sqadron position in AFROTC; which means i'm overseeing dining in, the recruiting officer below me, the morale officer (throws shindigs), and now am in charge of reveille and retreat, as well as displaying the flag at ceremonies, parades, etc. Full plate!! but that's what happens with a very small detachment - i've been told i'm "on top of my shit" so hopefully i'll keep that glowing review.
Tried out the Grappling club tonight (wrestling, jiu jitsu, judo, etc.) and me thinks my back doesn't want to be a regular attendee; damn. The workouts in the weightroom feel great though, so i'll keep up with that at least twice a week whilst i lack a non-internet social life.
My roomie Steve (moogles bro) is good so far, less skiddish every day, and yes, he's vomited once so far; it was like a 11 inch stream of pukie i came upon yesterday! yuck.
I also have a hole in my wall about 1' x 2' because the neighbors have leaky pipes and my manager is working on it; interesting....

Got the Macbook Pro, and as a "back to school special" i got a free ipod, which i sent to tim today! hope you like it. I've been busy with setting up the new, and preparing the old for mom, i also hope that works well - as it has for me for almost 3 years.
PACKERS KICKED BUTT TODAY!...for the most part; too bad they left the stadium for the 3rd qtr.
I also am borrowing Katie's cat (moogle's brother) for a time, as he howles when he is confined overnight. Hopefully everyone will benefit - i'll have a pal, katie can sleep, and steve the cat will be happier with my apartment.
Im also excited that after meeting with my advisor, i am well on track to graduate with everything i wanted: a Major in Political Science with a Law Studies Option (meaning I studied a crap-load about our constitution and law process) AND an English Minor!!!!

wow, very busy researching Mac laptops, as i have filled up both this hard drive, AND my external, and the family's home is in desperate need of more computers!! hahaha, and busy with getting books and doing school / air force work.
I've got a meeting tomorrow morning at the mac store (yes they prefer you make appointments...wierd) so we'll see what i come home with (and what gets sent to Tim!).
I've got my fingers crossed soooo hard that this thursday i'll FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY get to go out on lake michigan for a night/ wreck dive!
I've been staring at this thing too long, g'night.

Hahaha, sorry to dissappoint people with the skimpy blog, just the fact that i'm doing it is enough for me...
had a full plate today, 4 classes plus AF stuff in the morning. Just got back from the gym, it felt good to get back in there, start doing all the little back excercises i can only to with that variety of equiptment.
I finished it up with a swimming workout --- Tim, you would've laughed you ass off at me! Wish you could give me some serious help sometime.
I have a Dr.'s apt at the university health center tomorrow - i can see them as part of my tuition, hopefully we get my damn back figured out finally -- it'll have been an entire YEAR this semester!!!
Looking forward to my classes - don't know if i'll keep the exact schedule yet, but i have two english and three political science - and they're all required for my major & minor.
The Poli Sci's are nothing special, the englishes are 1. Chaucer - study of prolific 14th century poet and 2. Linguistics study of Language, power, and identity. exciting stuff for me.
alright you kids, i'm going to do 20 min of work, then it's a glass of cabernet sauvignon, and some lunchmeat, lettuce and cheese tortillas.
