It was three months ago that I became Jenni offically. All of my documentation has been changed to reflect my name/gender change. I still am looking for work but I have possibilities.
I am excited about the upcoming holidays and the new year.
Every one have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Today was a great day for me. One year ago today I had a doctors appointment and it was a great appt. That was the day I started hormones. Now one year later I have filed for my name change. On September 6, 2007 I will offically be Jennifer A. Lewer. My journey continues and I am very excited about that.
I want to wish all of you a great summer day.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my friends. Today was a great day in my transition. I spent the day as my true self at my brother's house for Thanksgiving. After coming out to him and his wife it was their first time meeting Jenni in person. There were members of my sister-in-law's family, her daughter and my nephew at dinner. I was accepted by everyone there. I had the chance to talk to my youngest son and wish him happy Thanksgiving. My only regret was not being able to wish my oldest son a happy Thanksgiving. But it was still a great day for my first real Thanksgiving celebration. My holiday hope is that all of you had a great Thanksgiving day too.

Today was a great day for me. I had a doctors appointment at 8:00am and it was a great appt. I have worked hard over the last month to improve my medical condition and I was rewarded today for that hard work. I began on 6-12-06 to check my sugar levels on a regular basis per my doctors request and my need to take care of myself because I have a lot to continue living for. I choose on 6-20-06 to give up choclate, cakes, cookies and candy. As a result my sugar levels have continued to stay in the acceptable range between 90 and 120. I also began to watch the other foods I eat to began to lose weight. At my appointment today I did record a weight loss. My doctor (she is such a sweetheart) was very excited and happy for me. She helped me to feel very good about what I have accomplished. It feels very good to see positive results because of what I am doing. The ultimate positive result is that I was able to receive my perscription for hormones and at 9:45am placed the first patch on my body that will deliver hormones into my body. My journey continues and I am very excited about that.
I want to wish all of you a great summer weekend.

Happy 4th of July to eyeryone. When I was young so long ago my parents instilled in me my
patriotism. Because of that and the July 4th holiday I went to Wal-Mart at 3:00am this morning and purchased an american flag to fly off my balcony. As I compose this entry I can look out my doorwall and watch my new flag fly in the wind and it makes me so proud to be an American.
I would also like to thank those women and men that serve in our armed forces at home and
abroad. A very happy independence day to you as you serve our country wherever you are stationed. You do an execellent job defending our way of life for all of us. Thank you.
I have my next doctors appointment on thursday July 6, 2006. I am hoping that day is my
H-Day when I will be able to receive my script for hormones from my doctor. My medical
condition has improved and I have lost some weight so I am praying that she will let me begin
HRT.
Have a great day today.

Jenni
