1. Mothers don't do spare time.

Would It Be?"

1. She has this weird thing about me keeping my room clean.
I'd get rid of that.

2. I'd make my mom smarter. Then she would know it was my

Happy Mothers Day
Happy Mothers Day magnify

Real Mothers don't eat quiche;
they don't have time to make it.

Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils
are probably in the sandbox.

Real Mothers often have sticky floors,
filthy ovens and happy kids.

Real Mothers know that dried play dough
doesn't come out of carpets.

Real Mothers don't want to know what
the vacuum just sucked up.

Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?'
and get their answer when a little
voice says, 'Because I love you best.'

Real Mothers know that a child's growth
is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of Mommy to Mom to Mother...

The Images of Mother

4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mommy can do anything!

8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mom knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn't really know quite everything.

14 YEARS OF AGE - Naturally, Mother doesn't know that, either.

16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's hopelessly old-fashioned.

18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out of date!

25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it!

35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mom's opinion.

45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mom would have thought about it?

65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mom.

The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair.

The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes,
because that is the doorway to her heart,
the place where love resides.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole,
but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows,
and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

Please tell a mother today that she may feel love.

If you do something good willhappen,

You'll boost some Mothers' spirits.

GIVE THEM THEIR FLOWERS NOW WHILE THEY LIVE AND CAN APPRECIATE THEM

It's Time To Grow Up Children of God !
It's Time To Grow Up Children of God ! magnify
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Ever use that phrase on your kids? "Come on, will you grow up already?!"

As our little one and a half year old explorer, Obadiah, is becoming more agile and able to communicate his desires, he's discovering more opportunities each day -- climbing on the furniture, opening the refridgerator and asking for various items, reaching things he was never able to reach before, whew! He's experiencing his new freedom and we're experiencing major exhaustion! But we've noticed that with his new found freedom comes the desire to have even more freedom -- and when something doesn't go quite the way he wants when he wants it, uh - oh, look out. Screaming, crying the whole nine yards. We are trying to teach him that this kind of behavior is not acceptable but it seems that he won't fully understand that concept until he "grows up" a bit.

One sign of maturity is the ability to delay gratification, or deny it completely. Wanting our way when we want it is childish behavior and doesn't work with God's plan for an anointed life! This may sound harsh, but I'm speaking to myself too!

There are no shortcuts to God. We cannot demand our way and our timing with Him. He has a perfect plan based upon His desires and His timing and if we want to go God's way, we must comply! And not only that, the things of God take time too -- developing a strong and annointed prayer life takes time a focused mind and spent with the Father, it doesn't come overnight. Reading and understanding the Word and applying it to our lives, it takes time and much practice!

So, let's grow up today. God wants us to be a mature bride -- one ready to rule with Him when He comes!

We have to let our lights shine before men, women, boys and girls.......We are the only Christ they will ever see...... so show the characteristic of Christ!!!!

Greetings!

You are invited to our Women of Light, Prayer/Word Breakfast! What an opportunity this will be to come out and join us for a time of food, fellowship, and feasting upon the Word of God. This year our theme is Women Glowing and Growing. I John 1:7 reminds us that, "if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin."

To walk in the light is to practice embracing God for who He is; by doing so we are reflecting the character of our Lord, making fellowship possible with Him and the brethren, (NKJV). Make arrangements now to attend and come with a heart of expectancy.

Women Of Light

Guest Speaker

This year our speaker brings greetings to us from Hampton, Virginia. A native of North Carolina, Jacqueline Owensby and her family made Virginia home by way of the U.S. Air Force. Jacqueline is the wife of Ray and the mother of two, Lamont, 18 and Kiana, 14.

Her passion for women has guided her on this journey to minister to women through various forums. Jacqueline holds a BA in English Journalism and a Masters in Management and Public Administration. As an educator, she believes in transforming the way we think by educating, training, and regulating the mind in order to gain an understanding of how to apply wisdom.

Jacqueline’s first ministry as a home-maker is to maintain a peaceful and spirit-led home, while continuing her mission to inspire, motivate, and empower women through the Word of God, to walk in spiritual prosperity. She is the founder of Women In Need of Empowerment, (WINE) a monthly

E-newsletter and serves along side her husband in building stronger families through their service in local marriage ministries. You can learn more about this service provided ministry by visiting her web site at: www.stayonethevine.com, and subscribe to your free monthly newsletter.

Who Are You Trusting?
Who Are You Trusting? magnify
James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

F.B. Meyer once said, “The education of our faith is incomplete [till] we learn that God’s providence works through loss…that there’s a ministry to us through the failure and fading of things. The dwindling brook where Elijah sat is a picture of our lives. ‘Some time later the brook dried up’ (1 Kings 17:7) is the history of our yesterdays and a prophecy of our tomorrows…learn the difference between trusting in the gift and trusting in the Giver. The gift may last for a season but the Giver is eternal. If the Lord had led Elijah directly to the widow at Zarephath, he’d have missed something that helped make him a better man – living by faith. Whenever our earthly resources dry up it’s so we may learn that our hope and help are in God.”

The world is engulfed in a financial crisis, and there are many that are wondering how they are going to pay their bills. When we first moved to Israel just over 5 years ago, we left the United States with just a few thousand dollars and a few suitcases. We honestly didn’t know how we were going to survive financially. But in those first few months, we saw the faithfulness of God as He provided in the most miraculous ways. And it was during that season that we learned how God truly provides for His saints. Over the years, we’ve had to take huge steps of faith which seemed impractical and illogical through earthly eyes – but we took those leaps, and God has always provided – often at the very last minute! But something the Lord taught me early on -- if it’s the Lord’s will – it’s the Lord’s bill!

Even though we’re living in this "economy" -- if you are a saint of God then you're in His economy -- and in His economy, the resources are not limited. Let’s keep our focus on the GIVER, instead of the gifts!
