A Gaming Rogue and Geek Goddess's Blog
And here I am again.
While testing out the My Web feature on Yahoo I noticed a "coming soon" for having "your web" pages show up some how on Yahoo 360. Yahoo certainly seems to be getting serious about becoming more than a regular net portal.
One of the nicest features about My Web so far is that the it automatically imports your bookmarks from IE... AND... it makes them private by default.
I like using del.icio.us but there are many links that I want to keep private. I've been using Furl.net for that but I don't always feel like inputting all that information so that my links make sense to others who might be browsing my public links. And for the private links, well I'm just a little lazy / or too in a hurry to always check off that choice so many of my links end up as public.
My Web could be just the thing for me since I'm already using Yahoo so much.
Let's see, what do we have here? Yahoo 360. I've seen it billed as a blog tool without any html. So far it's a bit like a glorified Profile page for your yahoo id. That's not a bad thing.
Yahoo has sucked me in with some of their features already -- primarily the free sync app of yahoo and Outlook (which I'm using as part of the Getting Things Done system) so we'll see if this adds some extra functionality too.
