Message from Mysti and the Faeries~
Hello everyone,
Yes, its time! So, the faeries say! They definately wanted me
to share a New Year's message with you all, so let's get started!

The Fairy of the Four Winds~

As soon as I woke on New Year's Eve day, I could hear the wind
blowing outside my window and the first thought that entered
my mind was, "the winds of change for 2009!!" I had been hearing
"whispering winds" all the night before and knowing many messages
would be coming to me. I stand at the window watching the trees
sway to and fro in the wind... some bend, some break. I had just
heard something on a movie a week earlier about how life is tough,
no one said it was all sunshine and rainbows, its not how hard we
hit, but how hard we get hit and keep moving forward! I thought
of this as I watched the trees blowing in the wind, how some are
stronger than others and they bend with the wind and others, they
break from the fierceness of the harsh winds that blow at times. I
sat down to ask which Faery cards the fae wanted me to use for the
rest of the message and I was asked to use those by Claire Nahmad
and the one that was drawn was "The Fairy of the Four Winds." Of
course, it didn't really shock me that it went hand in hand with the
message I had received already about "the wind."

The Fairy of the Four Winds reminds us that messages are coming
to us constantly from the Universe. There are angels and nature
spirits waiting to communicate with us. You must observe nature
and the little happenings all around you. If you listen to the blowing
of the wind, you will hear the voices of the spirit world. There is much
for you to learn from stories at this juncture in your life. These stories
may unfold from within your imagination and they will be worth writing
down. They may come to you from many sources, each with a circle of
illumination to throw around your life and its highways and byways.
The opportunity to travel may present itself. Take it if you can, because
this is a time for reaping and sowing by wandering.

Magical Task~
Begin excluding words of fear, doubt and violence from your vocabulary
and usher in words of grace and kindness. Try saying, "peace," many
times slowly, in rhythm, pausing after each time. Follow it with "joy,"
and then "goodwill." Note how you feel afterward.

Thank you all for your wonderful e-mails and lovely words in my guestbooks,

the Faerie's energy and it always helps me, they really are the little angels

Comfort and Joy~

Throughout the year, we keep busy, have much on our plates
and stress plays a big part of our life, sometimes wearing us
down and helping us to feel tired and worn.

When the holidays come, we increase our activities ten fold and
do our best to make everyone happy… but what about ourselves?
What do you do to create comfort and joy in your life during the
holidays and actually in your life throughout the year?

It's so important to take time to bring comfort and joy into your
life and space as much as possible. We need to breathe in positive
energy and breathe out negative stress. Some people may practice
yoga, qi-gong or other forms of creating and moving energy and
using it to de-stress their body, mind and spirit. Finding and doing
something we truly love can help us channel our energy and we
can find peace amongst daily chaos and especially during the
holidays.

I find that it's not what I expect for the holidays that really
stresses me out, its what others expect from me that sometimes
will try to take its toll on me. For me, I do my best to practice the
spirit of giving, loving and joy everyday, so I can't always see why
there's all the craziness of spending so much money, working one's
self up over expensive gifts and trying too hard to please others
with material things. When for me, gifts are nice, doing activities
together are even better, and spending quality time with those we
may not get to see all year round and making that time special.
Throwing off the ties that may bind and letting things flow, loving
freely, forgiving, feeling the true spirit of the holidays and allowing
ourselves to truly feel peace and no matter what our belief, give
from our heart and soul, not just from our purse or wallet. It surely
would make a big difference if children were taught from a young
age that it's not about "how much" or "how many gifts," but about
the true meaning and spirit, the comfort, the joy of being with
family, friends and those we love during the holidays, even if its
for a short time, quality is so important, much more than quantity,
in more ways than one.

Taking time to feel comfort and joy, when singing "Joy to the
world, peace on Earth," whatever belief, whatever religion, what-
ever country, city, street, lane or type of dwelling you have, it's
so powerful when we come together in spirit of heart and believe
it and treat ourselves to some special quality love and time.

As this year, 2008 comes to a close, remember to count your
blessings and give to yourself too, comfort and joy and know
that when we fill our own cups, we're able to help others much
more. We can't do much when our cups are empty because
we've run ourselves into the ground by over doing or by doing
things that really don't matter or just take up our time and
efforts. Find comfort and joy in as many things as you can…
you may be surprised where that just may be and keep it all
year long!

Many wishes for a prosperous and wonderful New Year filled
with much comfort and joy for you and all those you hold dear!

Greetings dear ones,

My goodness, its already Autumn Equinox and what a magical time it is!! My favorite time of year, filled with so much color, scents, a vibrance in the air and changes!

I wanted to write this note to let you all know I've had a very busy summer, but when Fall comes around I always take in a deep breath and smile, because I know that's my cue to slow down and enjoy life even more! Well, it seems Spirit has been wanting to me "slow down" alot more lately and to pay attention to something more too, because over the summer, in between the "busy times" I had two colds, several allergy attacks, fell and hit my head "hard" and had to go to the hospital and am still healing from that one. I was just out in my garden, after having been in bed the week before with a summer cold and I was pulling some weeds and I backed to a stone fence/raised garden that caused me to lose my balance and I fell and hit the back of my head on a stockade fence. I'm still seeing doctors and going to therapy to help with my balance, but ya know, I figure all things happen for a reason and perhaps it was reminding me about "balance," in general, I'm not really sure yet.

I know the fall has caused me to sleep a lot and during that time I feel myself meeting and talking with many Healers, Elders and helpers on other levels and realms, and I feel myself bringing many levels of myself all together, so I know even this had a purpose. I found myself sleeping sometimes for almost a full day, only waking to eat a little and refresh myself and then go back to sleep. My body, spirit and soul knew what it needed even if my mind didn't. Our soul always knows what we need and what many people don't understand and some seem to run from, are the lessons we learn from pain or discomfort. I feel that's what actually teaches us the most in life, are the times when we feel friction, pain, loss or discomfort and it forces us to move, do something, move our energy and cause change, to manifest something other than what we're going through to get to a better place. Those uncomfortable times are what push us to strive to be, feel and make life better! No one likes it when we hurt, feel pain, sickness or disease, but we can live a positive life and lift ourselves up to be in a much better place. Believe me, I know. Perhaps this lifetime, I chose all the things I have to deal with because its pushed me on my path much higher because if not, I may still be wondering what I'm supposed to be doing, what my gifts and talents are and what my life purpose is, but I know these things, and I'm in a higher place because of my life experiences and because I chose to deal with them and pay attention this time and learn from them.

I hope this update finds you all doing well, living in a higher space, in a place where you're meant to be, wherever that may be and learning your lessons that help you to be much higher, where you can see the bigger picture and know what you're here to do and why. It's a wonderful, peaceful feeling to know that no matter where you are, you're there, and that life always has much to offer if we choose to just reach out and take it. We have so many choices, let your heart/soul be your guide.~

Hello everyone,

My goodness, its been a while since I sent anything here, so I thought I better bring some of you up to speed, or is that, explain how I've had to slow down "my speed' over the last few months, lol.

First of all, I stopped doing the Faery Messages for a while and my FreeSpirits Newsletter so I could slow down and just breathe when Summer came along. I had a feeling that things were going to get busy or that something was about to happen and well, I was right. I did manage to enjoy some time for a bit, not having quite so much to do, and enjoy working around in my gardens and planting herbs and spending time with my family.

We've had some family changes, so our time and schedules have changed and that can take some getting used to. Life is busy and unless we take or make special time, we can get caught up or almost consumed by everyday life and issues. I've had ongoing health concerns that are mainly just frustrating and draining, but slowly the answers are coming. We, my husband and I, have had much on our plates with family and their health and we've had to handle several crisis here and there, but we're glad that things seem to be settling down some as Autumn is coming.

We had a dear old dog of ours pass away since I posted here too, and we needed to spend more time with him during his last few months here with us. We felt very blessed that he passed peacefully in his sleep, as we had laid hands on him and also told him how much we love him, that he had been a very good dog, companion, friend and guardian, so if he needed to let go of that physical body of his that was causing him trouble, then it was all right to let go and be at peace. We knew the time was close when he began to bark quietly, calling us to his side to just sit and be with him days and hours before his dear soul crossed over the Rainbow Bridge. Nicky or Nicholas, is missed and our other dogs know how much love is here in our family, plenty to go around, it was just his time to go at 17 years old this year. I cried a few tears but smiled many smiles, as I knew he is in another good place too, running amongst all his friends and other animals we've had, able to play and feel young once more. Not even two weeks after his death, his mate that had been with him for many years had a stroke and she is also quite old, so we've also been making sure she's all right. She seems to be healing and doing ok, even though she now walks with her head to one side, but she's honary and that's a sign she's better. <smile> We guess she really does miss him, even though she gave him hell most of the time when he was around... love is a funny thing, even for dogs.~

In August, a few weeks ago, I backed up too close to a stone fence and lost my balance and fell down when I was out in one of my gardens pulling weeds and hit my head pretty hard, falling backwards hitting it at the very base of my neck on a wooden stockade fence. I'm still resting and dealing with some dizziness and other symptoms of a concussion, but healing each day and doing more as I can. I appreciate everyone's love, healing and prayers. I know there is a reason for everything, so I'm trying to be patient and take things a bit slower. <smile>

I've also been working little by little to create spaces in other places too, extending the Mystickblue Network, so I hope you will come and visit me at....

If you don't find me hanging out or posting blogs here, then you will find different things at one of these places. I started them a while ago, but didn't put alot into them until I wasn't able to get out of bed as much and had some quiet time. I am doing better and better and actually getting back to my old self again. <smile> I may not always get back to you right away, but I do check messages and eventually see them and I do appreciate you all.
