AAU International TimePod presents a very special tribute to Britain's Bing Crosby; the legendary Michael Holliday. This promises to be a unique and insightful program featuring songs that have not been heard for over 40 years and an interview with Holliday biographer, Ken Crossland.
The picture above is the set from the BBC's Relax with Michael Holliday from 1958. This beautifully detailed set was designed by Ken Lawson. Special thanks to author, Ken Crossland; The Man Who Would Be Bing: The Life Story of Michael Holliday, for providing the image.

Lost Holliday: The Unreleased Songs of Michael Holliday, is dedicated to the memory of Derek Parks who first captured these performances and preserved them

During the debut broadcast of AAU International's "TimePod", we will be featuring popular Christmas songs (and other rarities) from some of the best loved "crooners" from America and England. Our broadcasts are not simply back to back music, but feature researched and well scripted commentary on the history of these great songs and performers. (The picture above is Michael Holliday and Bing Crosby in 1959. Holliday was considered the "Bing Crosby of Britain". He, indeed, sounded just like Der-Bingle! You will hear a sample of his talent on this presentation.)
Please check out a sneek preview of our debut program on the opening page, under feeds. Click on "Source: Timepod".
