and am putting what all comes to my mind....
I am not sure when the bug hit me, but, as long as I can remember; i am in love with automobiles. During my pre school classes, one of my best hobby is to show my friends pictures of cars and other vehicles and talk about them ( I always used to pester my dad by asking about vehicles, and when he asked me what b'day present i need (i was at 1st standard), i told him i need a swaraj mazda - itz a LMV). And when ever i go out, i always used to look at different model of cars, bikes and buses... the affection grew worse as i grew older, and when i joined for my PUC classes, i came across AutoIndia. AutoIndia was the premier auto magazine those days, and from then, till now, i haven’t missed my staple diet of automobile magazines.
Those days, i used to collect what ever money I get, and when i go to Thrissur (thatz a big town where i used to go for Entrance tuition) I will buy second hand AutoIndia from road side book sellers. Every month somehow i used to buy 2-3 back issues, along with the current issue.
My major source of income was the money dad gives me to have food, when I go for tuition classes on Sundays. I used to skip food, and save the money so that I can buy the latest AutoIndia. I collected a huge no of posters too - more than 1000, and the four walls and roof of my study was fully covered with them.
I have a good hand with automobiles. Give me a machine, and I can tame it within the first kilometer, and i can push it to its limit within the next kilometer.
my dad like to do a lot of tinkering works, and he used to do almost 99% of the repairs of his scooter alone. He is my guru, and I was pretty familiar with almost all the mechanics of Bajaj Chetak even before i finished my 10th standard. ( I am a good mechanic, and really can fix things.. :) )
I am sure I can identify 99% of manufacturer by looking at the cars, and I can identify many cars by looking at parts. And, this is one subject i can talk with authority.
My all time favorite is Royal Enfield Bullet. its one of the Oldest production bikes in the world. but more on this later, coz i am sure u will be yawning by this time (if u came till here)...
Last Friday my friend Pravesh came from Hyderabad, so after leaving office, went to see him. we went to forum, and had a nice time, and then dropped him at Majestic railway station. then I took a looooong way back to home, and rewarded with a good ride :) Saturday till noon i was cleaning and tuning my bike (and polished also). then i went with my friend to Chilli pepper (now a days, its my favorite hotel), and after a good lunch, went to Hero Honda and TVS show rooms with my cousin (She wants to take a gearless scooter)
I took a test ride of TVS Apache, man, it really looks good. but, am not impressed with the ride. then, we went to Monday to Sunday, and ordered a cake for our friend Vani. Her b'day was on Sunday. took the cake by 7, and went to see her. She was not home, so kept the cake at fridge, and gave her a surprise party at sharp 12.00 am. then i went home. Sunday morning i finished Cujo by Stephen King (I didn’t like it :( ) and then went to my cousins home.
by 2.30, i reached back, and took Last man standing by David Baldacci, and finished it by 1.30 am. Yesterday i want to blog, but, couldn’t. I didn’t even check much blogs...hope today i can go through all the pages... (and I started Sphere by Michael Crichton yesterday )

There was no power when I reached home, so had a hard time fixing my food, but luckily power came soon. After finishing food, i put some music and continued 'A Matter of Honor'. Finished it by 1.30 am, and took next book. CUJO by Stephen king, but after going through the blurb, thought I will start it next day.
Today is Holi. We will be having Holi celebration after 5 pm. well, last year it was awesome fun... cant wait for this years celebration... :)
