Nice to see Yahoo is winning the relevancy challenge which Barry Schwartz is running. Yahoo and Google are neck and neck at the top with ASK and MSN a little further behind.  Go to Rustysearch and rate a few queries. Whilst it is takes a while noone in the public has actually run a test like this since Danny and Chris ran the  Perfect page test

A-fraud you are a good guy now really....

A-rod looking for some positive PR in Boston saved the life of a boy who was crossing the street on Newbury street. The average speed on Newbury street is about ten miles an hour. Nice try A-rod. What is worse is the guy was a Yankees fan and A-rod is his favorite player. Come on Yankees fan at least pick a "home grown" player who has been with the team a while like Randy Johnson to be your favorite player ;-)  I would find this more believable if it was a Red Sox fan as they wouldnt agree to this sort of set up...

Anyway we won and you lost Yankees! Remember when the series was 2-0 Yankees. You guys have been real quiet lately. First it was Rivera blowing the game now Flash.

2 Days, 2 Sox-Yanks Games, 2 Rivera Blown Saves

I was watching the eighth inning with a Yankees fan and when we saw Rivera warming up we both knew it was over. This win was big and will give the Sox some good confidence against the Yanks for the rest of the season!

Eric Karabell from ESPN confirms:

You can say Boston has Rivera's number. You can say Rivera had some bad luck, was being squeezed on balls and strikes, A-Rod butchered a double-play ball, whatever. Fact is, Rivera was dominant a year ago, a top-three closer in most every draft this season, and now it certainly appears something's wrong with him.

An "Interesting" Web API Tool

Philipp Lenssen has developed Yahoo Autolink using the Yahoo Search API. Another humorous response to the controversial Google Autodrink technology after Mark Pilgrim developed the Butler program to creates links off of Google's pages.

What a disgrace!
What a disgrace! magnify

I have never heard of such a thing. Dyer and Bowyer two players from the same team (Newcastle United) got into a fight during the match against Villa and were both sent off as a result.  To make it even worse they will both be suspended for the FA Cup semi final with Man United. Eidur Gudjohnson had a very nice goal today for Chelsea. Seven players were involved in the build up and Drogba (who finally looks in form after his two goals this week in world cup qualifying) assisted on the goal. I did my usual 8am Premiership Chelsea game this morning. It was nice that Fox Soccer World covered it so I didnt have to pay the $20 to watch it on PPV.
