Thank you! Because of your hard work, millions of personal commitments have been made via the Web and SMS in 178 countries and 35 territories around the world. And our concert was not limited to 7 venues, but instead took place at parties and events in more than 10,000 homes and communities.
A decade from now, when people look back on Live Earth, what they will remember isn't what happened during the show -- instead my hope is they remember what happened after. More than 2 billion of us joined together on
7.7.07 and with one voice demanded an end to the climate crisis. We now have the responsibility to carry this movement forward and force our leaders to take action.

All of the actions we take from here on out to solve the climate crisis will be based on a simple premise: our home, Earth, is in danger. We don't risk destroying the planet, but instead risk making it inhospitable for human beings.

Our group, which is affiliated with "www.Shakirawhenever.com" the one of the largest French forums dedicated to the singer, would wish to join the greatest number of her fans to her noble cause: the Pies Descalzos Foundation.
We support the foundation for its action in the development of education for the children of Colombia, education is being a fundamental priority in our will to help the children to grow up with dignity, far from the violence and any form of exploitation.
Our objective is thus to gather the greatest number of people so and to mobilize them to bring a financial assistance to the foundation Pies Descalzos, just like we started to do it.
Shakira's world tour made it possible for our group to make considerable progress, especially in France where the singer came to dedicate her T.Shirt at the Hard Rock Cafe in Paris, from which part of the receipts related to their sale is returned to the foundation.
Indeed, we succeeded in mobilizing much fans so that they buy this T.Shirt.
For the last concert of Shakira in Europe in Cologne, we could gather funds with an aim of making a donation.
Our delegation which went to Germany could pay homage to the singer for her devotion to the foundation Pies Descalzos by giving/sending to her a banner at the colors of Colombia on stage and expressing our support in her noble cause.
Today, we wish to seek forms of partnerships with companies in order to constitute another form of financial mobilization for the foundation.
We will also continue to carry out personal donations thanks to the support of people engaged in this action.
