Mike is working Sunday hours today,10am-4pm.
Susie came by at 8am.The yardsales were scarce & we went to different parts of town,but still ended up with some good stuff.I finally found a door mirror for the Sky Room($1),along with a paperback for Mike(.50),a clean/dirty magnet for the dishwasher(.75),small Spiced Cider jar candle(.25),Debbie Mumm "Right words for any Occasion" booklet(.25) & a gallon bag of misc buttons/bobbins/lace/straight pins($2).We had lunch at Wild West Cafe.

It started raining just about the time Mike got me up & lasted about 1/2 hour.Our grass should green-up good!
It was still raining when I left the house at 8:45am.I wanted to get a parking space for the Family Thrift Center 1/2-off Everything sale.Yes,people were already there,waiting in line in the rain!I waited until the doors opened & the crowd cleared.
I started with the T-shirts,since I had seen abunch there in fun colors.I noticed alot of browns/tans in my closet.I got the following colors(as matched at Valspar) in various styles/brands-Garden Sprout,Rain Dance,Spring Meadow,Coral Passion,Lavender Quartz,Spanish Tile,Celestial Blue & Limolicious.I also found 3 picture frames,a framed hand-cut paper & 3 salad plates.All this for $18.06!I love 1/2-price days!!
Back home,I used the 3 picture frames for the family wall.After lunch,I made Oatmeal Cookies in muffin tins(the brown edge is the best part!).I used chocolate chips in 2/3 of them & peanut butter chips in the other 1/3.
I made a Little Octopus in Shaded Jades.
I spent the rest of the afternoon working on granny squares.
We had bacon cheese burgers for supper.

Hike to I-40 Rock.
I went to the Family Thrift Center to check out stuff for tomorrows 1/2-off Everything sale.While there,I did get a book for Mike & a T-shirt for me that were 1/2-price green/white tags.
I helped to hand out 16 bags at the food pantry,folded bulletins & worked on the Scrap Tweed Tassel Feed Bag purse.Julie & Pat thought it was so cute!
At Goodwill,I found 2 salad plates(the size we use the most)& a custard cup to match the 3 I bought at a yardsale.
Back home,I just spent the afternoon watching TV & napping.I think I have a slight bug of some kind.I am tired & sleepy.
Mike had to work until 6pm to help close the store.I made hime grilled smoked sausage for supper.

I sold a Cheyenne Hat in Black Fleck/Turquoise to Cindy in CA.
I helped Chuck fill 12 bags at the food pantry.
Mike & I roade the bike to the shooting range,stopping by Kmart on the way home to pick up toothpaste & push up bars.
I made a rose pin in unknow Blackberry Patch wool for the completed Cheyenne Hat in LBH Lagoon.
I haven't felt good all day,so took a nap around 2:30pm.After waking up,I felt the best I had all day!I made a Little Octopus in RHS Camouflage.
We had Cheesy Bacon Chicken for supper.
We attended Pilgrims in Christ class.

Hike to Coffee Rock.
We got groceries at WMS & Costco.We also stopped off at Lowe's to pick up an electric weed wacker to replace the old,heavy gas model that Mike says is on it's last leg.
After lunch,I picked up the back yard & trimmed the rose bushes.Mike weed-wacked & mowed.I also picked up some sticks from the front yard.I also trimmed Mike's hair.
Around 2pm,it rained really hard for about 20 minutes.Great for the back yard!
I finished the Durango Hat in RHS Off White Fleck.
I worked on the Yellow/Red/Orange round ripple lap blanket.
We had bacon cheeseburgers for supper.
