This photo is of Lorne when he was a baby!

Many times, people forget that ALL missing people are the children of someone.  Somewhere, there are parents missing their child, no matter the age, and these families deserve to be reunited.
Yes, there are laws stating that "adults have the right to go missing".  However, what about all of the adults that do NOT want to go missing, yet many think they have walked away from their life for their own "reason".
Are we at liberty to say whether or not someone chooses to vanish?  To me, in my opinion, it is up to us to search and should the missing person NOT want to return home, when found, then the search is over and life goes on in a different manner.
Yet, if we do NOT search and this missing individual did not leave on their own free will or could be ill and not know that they are even missing, should we turn our backs because of their age?
I posted this photo and chose this topic because, back in 1980, when this photo was taken, Lorne's parents NEVER foresaw the day that they would be adding the words, "Missing" and "Have You Seen Me" to fliers and photos of their son, their only child.
NO parent ever expects this to happen to them!
Please, when you see the face of a missing person, remember, that person is someone's CHILD!
Please keep you and yours safe!

Tonight, November 25, 2005 at 9:00 PM (EST) and 6:00 PM (PST) on CNN, Lorne's case will be featured on Larry King Live.

There are many Missing Person cases that will be featured.  For Lorne and some others, this is our FIRST National Coverage.
These cases need all of the help that they can get!
Please watch this airing tonight, look at these faces, and please visit their websites.  YOU can be the one to reunite a family.  If you think you have seen one of the faces, call in your lead.  It is better to be wrong then to be right and ignore it.  A family is counting on you!
Please do NOT overlook the possibility of reuniting a family!
Prayers to all that are missing a loved one and to all that search!
Stay strong and Keep the Faith!

Tonight is our Christmas Tree lighting in town.  Santa just rode by my home on a Fire Engine and my sons went to watch.  This is something that Lorne would have  shared with them.  Just look at the photo with the "green bow", can you see how he could be fun to be around?  He was my boys best friend.  The laughter that you could hear when they were together!  I miss that!

Photo of Lorne ~ Thanksgiving of 1998

thanksgiving.jpg
It is Thanksgiving and Lorne is still Missing.
It is snowing out, my favorite time of year, but this year, like many past, is missing one of the best smiles a family could have; Lorne's radiant smile with the twinkle only his eyes possess.
Where are you, Lorne?  Is it snowing there?  Do you think of home?  Are you alright?
These questions are just a few thoughts that race through my mind on a daily basis.  I search for you with tears, heartache, and great Hope of one day being reunited.
Where~ever you are this Thanksgiving, I hope that you are safe, warm, and well fed.
Happy Thanksgiving, Lorne!
I Love You!

On November 13, 2005, my brother (Lorne's uncle), Paul Carlson, passed away, may he rest in peace.

This is such a hard thing to deal with.

For everyone that reads this, please, live your life to the fullest, as you never know what is in store for you tomorrow.
