My hope is to reach the oncoming generation for Christ. We must see young people become disciples.

The following is a poem written by Judge Roy Moore from Alabama .. Judge Moore was sued by the ACLU for displaying the Ten Commandments in his courtroom foyer. He has been stripped of his judgeship and now they are trying to strip his right to practice law inAlabama ! The judge's poem sums it up quite well.
America the beautiful,
or so you used to be.
Land of the Pilgrims' pride;
I'm glad they'll never see.
Babies piled in dumpsters,
Abortion on demand,
Oh, sweet land of liberty;
your house is on the sand.
Our children wander aimlessly
poisoned by cocaine
choosing to indulge their lusts,
when God has said abstain
From sea to shining sea,
our Nation turns away
From the teaching of God's love
and a need to always pray
We've kept God in our
temples,how callous we have grown.
When earth is but His footstool,
and Heaven is His throne.
We've voted in a government
that's rotting at the core,
Appointing Godless Judges;
who throw reason out the door,
Too soft to place a killer
in a well deserved tomb,
But brave enough to kill a baby
before he leaves the womb.
You think that God's not
angry,that our land's a moral slum?
How much longer will He wait
before His judgment comes?
How are we to face our God,
from Whom we cannot hide?
What then is left for us to do,
but stem this evil tide?
If we who are His children,
will humbly turn and pray;
Seek His holy face
and mend our evil way:
Then God will hear from Heaven;
and forgive us of our sins,
He'll heal our sickly land
and those who live within.
But, America the Beautiful,
If you don't - then you will see,
A sad but Holy God
withdraw His hand from Thee.
~~Judge R oy Moore~~
This says it all. May we all forward this message and offer our prayers for Judge Moore to be blessed and for America to wake up and realize what we need to do to keep OUR America the Beautiful.
MONOLOGUE
Psalm 4Prayer # 1
Experience Inspires Prayer

I Request
1. Answer me when I call to you, O my righteous God.Give me relief from my distress;
be merciful to me and hear my prayer.
II Addresses Problem 2. How long, O men, will you turn my glory into shame?
How long will you love delusions and seek false gods? Selah

the LORD will hear when I call to him.
III Instruction 4. In your anger do not sin;
when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent. Selah

and trust in the LORD.
IV Confession 6. Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?"
Let the light of your face shine upon us, O LORD.
7. You have filled my heart with greater joy
than when their grain and new wine abound.
8. I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety.
In Psalm 3 we were introduced to the truth that we have in our christian life times of a night experience when things are dark, we realize in this psalm we have many enemies, (this time of darkness is spoken about in Isaiah 50:10) we must exercise faith alone in these times of trial. But we also have an experience of relief after this time of darkness is over, the scriptures show this as a time of morning. We christians must get use to having seasons or changes in our experiences with God. In the psalms we have made note of these changes by the words TROUBLE and RELIEF. We refere to these psalms of change as Dramatic Psalms of deliverance; Remember the psalms are classifed in this study under five types: 1. Meditations. 2. Spiritual Experience Related. 3. Songs. 4. Worship. 5. Sorrows. Look over the page I sent listing these.
In this Psalm 4 we see David going through a hard experience that brought distress; we find this not only caused him to pray but we have instruction what to do in these hard times, besdes prayer; First we must search our heart to see if there is a cause needing correction; next we must learn how to quiet our soul like the scriptures teach us in Psalm 131. We do this by putting away our distress through trusting in the Lord, knowing he has everything under control. We must learn to praise Him in these times. We have an excellent passage on this in Philippians 4:6-7, Once we follow this direction of the Lord we again we find peace, and blessing come into our life, we see night turn to morning.
Dramatic Lyrics # 1*
Experience of Deliverance THE DRAMA OF NIGHT AND MORNING
Antistrophic [A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.]
I Trouble (Night)
1. O LORD, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
2. Many are saying of me,
"God will not deliver him." Selah
3. But you are a shield around me, O LORD;
you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
4. To the LORD I cry aloud,
and he answers me from his holy hill. Selah
II Relief (Morning)
5. I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the LORD sustains me.
6. I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side.
7. Arise, O LORD! Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.
8. From the LORD comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people. Selah
* Dramatic Lyrics: Experience or Deliverance - In this type of psalm trouble and relief are clearly marked. See more information in ‘Importance of Structure’ page 255
Here is a little commentary: Psalm 1 we classed as a Meditation Psalm, Psalm 2 we class as a celebration, or Song, on the Theme of the Anointed of God, Jesus Christ. The 5 devotional acts: Meditation, Experience, Songs, Worship, Sorrows, can be use to the greatest advantage when we exercise one to enhance the other. An illustration of this would be to give much Meditation on the Song Theme of Psalm 2.
In Psalm 3 we have David describing a spiritual experience we all go through., We have times that we feel, and know, we have many foes, (Spiritual forces Eph 6:12) against us, this can be a very dark night which we find in the first half of the Psalm 3:1-4; but when we cry out to God as David did here, we come to a sweet spiritual rest, and we can sleep. Waking in the morning we are ready to take on the Christian battle again, which we find in the last half of the psalm 3:5-8.
There are many psalms of deliverance and in a great many of them we have trouble described in the first half, and relief in the last half, so we tack on to these psalms the word Dramatic Lyric or D.L.
Entry for January 03, 2008
Before I Post: Psalm three. I want to speak to you about Devotion. For the Title of my book is: "The Book of Psalms Devotional".
The Dictionary gives the meaning for Devoted as: ardent, zealous, strongly attached. So when we use the word devotional for the Book of Psalms it carries this word; you are ardent, zealous, and strongly attached to this part of the word of God; and if you use this book of Psalms in relation to knowing God better, you will become more ardent, zealous, and strongly attached to Him.
Now I see a falling away from the Psalms by Christians. They do not really see the value of using this wonderful book of the Bible for all its worth. Paul infers in Colossians and Ephesians that learning and using this book along with other songs and hymns, will very much help in our life of Joy, and letting the word of God dwell in us richly. Eph 5:18-20 Col3:16-17.
We can classify or divide the psalm into 5 words or acts of devotion: Meditation, Spiritual experience, Songs or celebrations, Worship, Sorrows or Elegies. To use these related psalms in this way will really help you in your devotional life, so that you will be more: ardent, zealous, and strongly attached to Christ; really growing in what we call the love of God.
Again I will classify each Psalm in the posting as one of these for you use. I believe you will see as you study them they are very effective if used in this manner. Here is the list again.
1. Meditation. 2. Spiritual experience related by one man. 3. Songs or celebration. 4. Worship. 5. Sorrows or elegies.
I will also give a Title to each psalm to help you get a hold on the psalm, and also see the subject of the Psalm, this will help you and use them in a more a more real devotional act of life.
God bless you, please back up and look over Psalm 1 and Psalm 2. Pray over them and tomorrow I will try to Post Psalm 3. These two Psalms are a great introduction to the rest of the psalms.
I find in the Bible, Psalms were used strongly to point to other scriptures. I think you will find that so, yes, you will become better acquainted with many other Parts of the Word of God.

I hope you have enjoyed Psalm 1 and Psalm 2. these are posted with literary form. Sorry the second time posting Psalm 1 was not as readable as yesterdays.
Both Psalms you can read together for they are both concerning the word: Psalm 1 is the written word and Psalm 2 is the living word Christ Jesus. The written will alway lead you to the living word if you let the Holy Spirit have his way in your life. Psalm 1 can be listed as a Meditation on a theme. Psalm 2 can be listed as a song of celebration on a set theme.
Make up a note book for daily meditation and comment.
