I had a quite long winter.

Hanoi winter this year abnormally lasted so long. When I started touching the first light from the summer sun is the point I have to depart. Meeting in Indonesia drives me to a new position, new point of view and new values which I’d never got familiar with. I remember the moment I went out late to discover Bandung city where traffic is much worse than it is in Hanoi ^^ Bandung is the heart of West Java in which you can find shopping center and banks everywhere.

Went alone to Singapore from Jakarta. My first impression was it really looks like Europe. My idea then was supported by the living standard, convenience and this country’s modern. I love Food court in Singapore ‘cause it’s easy to find typical dishes of any Asian nations. Most of them are tasty. My advice is you shouldn’t choose Sing to travel if you adore discovering culture or watching works of art. The Place is famous for shopping, working, playing and somehow eating. Many people from my country said it was so boring. By contrast, I like Singapore ’cause I felt softly there. I will come back soon ;)

Malaysia is my third place. I saw my WYD group there and travel with them. Light was bursting in Kuala Lumpur at night. We visited places like Twins tower, China town, Railway station, Parks, Medeka Square, etc. Taxi in KL is quite cheap so feel free to enjoy ^_^ Do not forget bargaining T_T We kept moving to Genting – the most famous traveling place in Malay and 80km far from KL. Genting zone is on the top of a very high mountain, invested by a Chinese man. There is a hotel with thousand rooms and an amusement park named “ARENA OF STARS”. Be careful with cloths you wear ’cause it is normally less 10 degree or 15 degree in case of raining +_+

After that, I came to Australia with my group. I really really enjoyed time in Ballina. Stay with a nice host family and be treated very well by the organizer. Beaches with dolphins, whales and hidden sharks made me excited, music from Tonga, Solomon, Austria and Korea made me happy and impressed = >. I was on the Easternest point of Australia, saw the famous lighthouse in Byron Bay. I miss the day of social services, every church morning, bush dance evening and the day walking along the beach, night of firework,…

Sydney is less gorgeous than I expected but I got the feeling of peacefulness and poetics. I suppose it is due to the romantic name Darling harbour and the incompletion of city construction. I saw buildings and works of art like opera house in center but grass-field or abandoned land on the way I walked. It made me feel Sydney is too large. Incompletion likes an inconclusive love-affair usually reminds you of good memories. So do I.

I was lucky. In the final mass, I was very close to the Pope and saw him blessed the baby, which on the front page in most of every newspaper in Sydney. He has a smile likes one of my friend ^^

Now I’m back with full of memories :X and waiting for the next summer (winter in Aus) = >
