What interest me the most is the Call of God and doing all I can for the Kingdom and God's children for the glory of God
Psalm 24:1-10 - A Psalm of David.
[1] The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. [2] For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. [3] Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place? [4] He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. [5] He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. [6] This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. [7] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [8] Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. [9] Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. [10] Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. [KJV]
Don't stress the course of life, allow the Will of God to run it's course in you life. Yesterday is gone (cant go back to fix or redo), tomorrow is not promised (take no thought on tomorrow, it's going to come regardless) be thankful for today, for while we are in today, let's make it count for something. Fulfill the Will and Purpose of God TODAY while you are yet able to work for the Glory of God. ALL THINGS BELONG TO GOD, and He's a better steward than we will ever be.
Blessed - to be happy, at peace, favor, FULLY SATISFIED, invocation of good,
It also indicates the state of the believer in Christ - he is indwelt by God because of Christ and as a result he is FULLY SATISFIED and worthy to be well spoken of. In the biblical sense, a blessed person is one whom God makes fully satisfied, not because of favorable circumstances but because He indwells the believer through Christ.
I've heard so many define being blessed because of material possessions, while there is nothing wrong with material possessions they are not the foundation of one being blessed. Material things come and they go, so how can this be considered being blessed - once it's gone will one still consider themselves blessed? Not likely.
My husband, Apostle Patrick Sutton often says that, He'd rather be blessed than look blessed! Meaning that he doesnt mind the finer things in life but only as God wills. (Proverbs 10:22 - The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it).
You know that you are blessed when you have a peace of mind, you're content when you have and when you dont have, because being blessed is not based upon stuff - stuff (material possessions) are merely a benefit that God gives to all for He reign on the just and the unjust, but only those who have come to the FULL KNOWLEDGE of the FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT can be TRULY BLESSED! Why? Because Jesus was truly blessed, He didnt depend on man nor stuff to make Him happy, it didnt take material things to make Him FULLY SATISFIED. Think about it, He had nothing materialistic attached to him, He was born in a Manager ALL for the GLORY OF GOD! There was nothing man could take away and nothing made Him happier than fulfilling the WILL and PURPOSE of His heavenly Father. Man didnt even have the power to take His life, they didnt give it, therefore they couldnt take it. Jesus laid down His life for the Glory of the Father and to redeem man back to His Father.
If we expect to be TRULY BLESSED, we must realize and come to the full knowledge of Philippians 1:21 - For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. Knowing that your very life isnt your own, dying to self pleasure and self will daily. In doing so one can experience being blessed beyond measure, you will realize that material possessions cannot and will never make one fully satisfied but it's the Christ that dwells on the inside, which cause you to be THANKFUL and HAPPY in ALL THINGS.
Matthew 7:17-20 - (17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. (18) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit; neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. (19) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. (20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
Bear - to produce, to give birth to
Good - to do well and benefit others, profitable, useful, doer of good, to have balance,
Fruit - a result, a product
- Fruit include deeds as well as doctrine. Our fruit will be tested against the truths of God's Word.
- An apple tree cannot bear oranges, no more than evil can bring forth good or good evil.
- If your deeds and motives are good, you will bring forth good fruit (fruit that will benefit others), if your deeds/fruit are evil, you will bring forth evil and corrupt fruit.
- Just as trees are consistent in the fruit it bears or produce, those who are good will bring forth good consistently (good behavior and high moral character).
Note: Hewn down means to cut down, to hinder and to frustrate
Matthew 12:34-35 - (34) O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. (35) A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth the good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things
Evil - sorrow, pain, evil in a moral or spiritual sense, wicked, to delight in mischief and tragedy, perverseness.
Abundance - stands for the gifts in each kind supplied by saints, pieces that are left over.
Heart - thoughts, reasoning's, understanding, will, judgment, designs, affections, heart is used for the mind in general.
- The things we say reveals what's in the heart. Our actions and what we say affects our fruit as to whether it will be good or evil - people sooner or later act out of the abundance of their heart.
