Just keeping tabs on people I care about.
I recently got a Nintendo Wii and I have been playing the Sports game that comes with it. The first 2 day's I had the Wii I played the sports game soo mutch I was sore for 2 days!
So I am going to see if I can get myself into shape with the Wii sports game. I will post my progress here.
Soo will I get into shape, or will my wife accuse me of getting a Wii just to play games? Only time will tell!
Two people (Named Dennis Bystrov and Michael Taylor) thought that they would save the world by creating a National Shut Down Day. Their whole mission is to see if people can survive without computers for 24 hours. So far they have a 3 sentance mission statement. They just want to see who can live with out a computer. They are not even trying the "Save the Earth" angle either! They have a video showing you "Alternate" ways to have fun with your computer. Such usefull things as using your laptop as a snowboard, tennis racket, hockey puck, basket ball, and even in Curling!
It would also be helpfull if they would actually DEFINE what they consider to be a Computer. yes I know what you are thinking, "A computer is well a computer". However it is not that simple. Computers are in nearly everything now! Here is a list of stuff that I have around my house that contain a computer in one form or another:
MiniVan
Wrist Watch
Nintendo DS
Xbox
Nintendo GameCube
3 DVD Recorders
3 Cable Boxes
TV
A home built PVR. (A computer desktop configured as a PVR)
Treo 650 CellPhone
Assorted MP3 Players
BlueTooth Wireless headphones
My Wife's Power Wheelchair
My 12 in 1 learning IR remote controll
LifeDrive
The Thermostat for my house
Even Engadget has their own boycott on the National Shut Down Day! And I am not suprised! The whole concept is ill concieved, and undefined, and totally pointless!
So join me in saying NO!!! I will NOT turn off my computer based products for such a pointless "experiment". However I am not going to go as far as Engadget to power on every machine I have for the full 24 hours.
We have enough Holidays, and "Do this" days that actually have a meaning of some kind. Why do we need these pointless days that really surve no purpouse. Instead of powering your computers off for 24 hours, why not eat less sugar, or drink less pop, or eat at home for 24 hours. Do we really need one more pointless day?
Edit: If you REALLY want to make a difference in March, then forget the whole shut your computer off crap. Boycott the RIAA for the whole month of March! Yes it is hard to go without music forever, however we can all wait a month to purchase music that is "Protected" by the RIAA.
You can make all sorts of M&M People now thanks to the Planet M&M Website!
Have fun making images of yourself, others, or even famous people out of M&M's!!! If you make something post the URL to your image for others to see! (And to show me as well. LOL)
Just in time for Christmas, and for the networks to start showing A Christmas Story again, and again, and yet again. Well this site has a game based on that movie. And it is not a lame follow the story game. Nope, the goal of the game? Shoot BB's at the trees, rocks, and other objects and get them to bounce as many times as possible without shooting your eye out!

OK I am sure most of you have seen the masters of the Rubix Cube solve it in record time. And then there are all the guides to help you solve your scrambled cube.
Now there is a Robot that can solve the cube for you. You can scramble it up as much as you want. It will actually LOOK at the cube, then proceed to solve it in under 20 moves!!!
Check out the video to see it in action!
