Stuff about me. Me me me me me.
A new blog since I don't know when.
So here I sit with nothing to do.
That's not exactly true... I could be cleaning. Blah.
So I guess I should have started with: So here I sit procrastinating.
I figured I'd post since I haven't (once again) posted in a long time.
I just have nothing to post. Life is pretty quiet and boring. Which isn't bad because quiet and boring means there isn't a horrible situation happening.
So I will do what I always do... talk about James!
Good lord the boy is getting big. On 9/25 he turned 17months old. At his well baby appt. he was 31 inches tall and about 26 or 27 lbs. He got to stand on the big boy scale... no more baby scale for him.
The biggest news in James world is he now has 12 teeth. In the past month and a half his mouth exploded in teeth! He has been doing really well though. He has his days where he is OH so fricken whiney.. but over all he is doing good.
He is walking so good. It's hard to beleive that that is my baby walking and running around lol.
I think since he has walking down, he is gonna start focusing on talking more. His new word is shoe. He doesn't have that many words yet so that is a big deal. Let's see, he says: Momma, dada/daddy. all gone, shoe, something that sounds like what's that and hey you, ow, no, and hot dog. Ok.. heA only said hot dog once.. but it counts.
Ummmmm.
OMG is my life boring.
Today is my best friend/sister Vikki's birthday! Yay for Vikki!
My sister got this email and I stole it to post here:
Tax his land, Tax his bed, Tax the table At which he's fed.
Tax his tractor, Tax his mule, Teach him taxes Are the rule.
Tax his goat, Tax his pants, Tax his coat.
Tax his ties, Tax his shirt, Tax his work, Tax his dirt.
Tax his tobacco, Tax his drink, Tax him if he Tries to think.
Tax his cigars, Tax his beers, If he cries, then Tax his tears.
Tax his car, Tax his gas, Find other ways To tax his ??
Tax all he has Then let him know That you won't be done Till he has no dough.
When he screams and hollers, Then tax him some more, Tax him till He's good and sore.
Then tax his coffin, Tax his grave, Tax the sod in Which he's laid. Put these words upon his tomb, " Taxes drove me to my doom..."
When he's gone, Do not relax, Its time to apply The inheritance tax.

Not one of these taxes existed 100 years ago, and our nation was the most prosperous in the world. We had absolutely no national debt, had the largest middle class in the world, and Mom stayed home to raise the kids.
Yesterday I was feeling just fine. I was taking it easy because I worked last night and wanted an easy day.
I take a nap, because I work 3rd shift, and sleep really good. Yay!
Then I wake up. :|
All of a sudden, I couldn't breath through my nose, my through was a little sore and I was coughing.
Grrr. Today it is more in my chest but don't worry, it didn't leave my sinuses completely. I'm plenty stuffed up!
It's a cold, everyone gets them. My biggest worry is bronchitis. I don't have money to go to the doctor, so I'm screwed if it turns into that. The only reason I worry is because the past 2 colds I've had turned into bronchitis. And with James here now, I really don't want to give it to him.
The thing that gets me is when I smoked (I quit about 5 years ago) I only got bronchitis once, EVER. Now I don't smoke, and poof, it's my best friend *mutters* Thank gawd he is covered to go to the doctor. Dave and I aren't lol, but the little boy is set to go!
James got his 2 round of shots on Aug 30th. As you can see from the picture, he did wonderful.
There for a second or 3 at Walmart I thought he was going to be a grumpy baby, but then he fell asleep and was fine.
He handled the shots SO well. Of course, when they were given he screamed bloody murder, but we had a bottle ready (it was feeding time) and after both of us loved him up a bit, we stuck the bottle in his mouth. Once he tasted food, he was fine lol.
The rest of the day he was pretty much a happy little guy. Like I said, we thought he was going to grumpy there for a bit, but he just snoozed it off lol. We went to eat at yummy place called OIP (Original Italian Pizza) and one of the waitresses gave him that stuffed whale you see in the picture. That did it for him. He was all smiles from there on out!
