The End of Yahoo 360: As most of you might have suspected Yahoo 360 is about to go the way of Yahoo User Chat Rooms and will officially become non existent on July 12, 2009. I imagine that they will hire a bunch of submissive Indian women to pretend they give a crap about their customers (like every other major U.S. Corp) who will be more than happy to apologize for your inconvenience while making just enough money to starve on. You just have to love those people in India for their ability to sound gracious and apologetic for something they couldn't care less about.

This of course comes as no great surprise. The days of Yahoo listening to the people who actually use their service (who oddly enough also happen to be the product they actually sell) was over many years ago.

The thing is, they know Americans will put up with just about anything. Hey if you're willing to give up liberty, justice and freedom something like user chat rooms or 360 is a no brainer. Yahoo knows dam well that, though they might lose a few thousand subscribers, most of you are more than happy to be their sheep because they managed to get you addicted. Yes they are trying to addict you and keep you addicted. Grow up.

It might also be important to mention that Yahoo is giving you a new profile. They claim it is better but it won't be as custom or pretty as your current page and it won't support adult oriented material so you might as give your laptop to the closest 10 year old because obviously Yahoo doesn't feel that adults can handle adult content and therefore it is their job to dictate morality to you.

We Are All Alone: As we are all aware these times will be remembered as some of the worst of times. Well we hope they will anyway because if things get much worse there will be no future or peace and especially no prosperity.

To help us deal with these times and to give us hope the people who played a large roll in what has happened here, the news media, likes to show us stories that make us feel better about things that are occurring all around us. How a church arranged for a homeless couple in D.C. to get the wedding they had dreamed of and how an entrepreneur in S.C. paid for everyone's breakfast one day to show he was a caring part of his community. These stories make us feel better. We want to believe that in these times of crisis that the best of people shines and that we will make it through these hard times together. But it's bullshit.

For every story they over glorify to make us feel better there are 100 stories of people who have realized that they are truly alone in our world. The father who resorted to crime, murder or suicide because he had to place to turn. Sure, after he committed his act people come out of the woodwork claiming to have been willing to help but had that really been the case would he have cracked?

What about the families destroyed because of economic problems. Statistics have proven time and time again that most relationships are based, not on love or understanding or friendship or mutual respect or even humanity. Marriages by and large are held together by money and when there is no money there is no marriage.

Make no mistake there is a plethora of human suffering that is going on right this very minute, is getting worse, and will reach across generations. As some come to realize how fragile their lifestyles and relationships truly were we see the seed of truth growing in those who falsely believed that love could conquer all.

These are times of survival and husband and wife will turn on each other, brother and sister, and even parent and sibling. Friends disappear as if they never existed in the first place.

Many will learn hard lessons.

Try not to pretend such things have not already occurred in your lives. There is at least one family member or friend that you have distanced yourself from because their desperation is too painful for you to bear or you managed to convince yourself that their need is their own doing and all they need to do is pull up their boot straps and everything will be just fine.

Find a way.

We all live in Disney Land when we are lucky and someone else is not. We deserve our good fortune and they are just lazy, stupid, or self destructive. We wash are hands of their mess and focus on ourselves.

There is a lot of that going around. During these times of survival there will be a lot more of it too. Love, family, friendship; these things will pale in the face of self survival as they always have. We will justify turning Judas in the name of our own survival and it will be ugly.

We are truly alone in this world.

I hope you never find out how much first hand.

Banks and Corporate America getting bailed out while hundreds of thousands of people lose their jobs and their families because of it? And you paying for it all.
Ah the winds of change.

Yet the disillusioned still clinging on to the hope that this man didn't blatantly lie to them just to be President. He lied to Americans and he lied to the world and even though his lies were as transparent as a wet paper towel you all ate it up.

How sad to witness the humiliation of your own stupidity.

But you deserve this.
You let corporate America and the media thought process machine do your thinking for you and because you allowed that to occur the blame rests squarely on your shoulders.
He's Black he must be the Messiah. You're stupid and now you're gonna pay for it through the nose.
Congratulations morons.
