Hi guys

I recieved an invite to test out the new blog service named Yahoo 360 from Nick over at http://threadwatch.org

Yahoo 360 seems ok (and thats about ir really), I believe that Y are little too late in the blogging game (though I could be proved wrong) and feel people will only be signing up to test out the service and not use it as thier real blogging method.

After checking out Nick's blog http://360.yahoo.com/nickwthreadwatch I have to say (as I have done over at http://www.threadwatch.org/node/2091) that the url's used are absolutely ridiculous:

• Main page url is ok, in the form of 360.yahoo.com/NAMEHERE but not better than blogger which is NAMEHERE.blogspot.com
• Posts url's just totally piss me off e.g http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-xMr8XXQ_cqUU0f9HoumfD1Q8NqlmIqdu?p=4 - now what the hell is all that shit? Bloger urls are clean and smooth namehere.blogspot.com/2005/03/post-title-here.html. Aint that a lot more inviting?
• Same goes for the rss feeds http://blog.360.yahoo.com/rss-xMr8XXQ_cqUU0f9HoumfD1Q8NqlmIqdu and bloggers is simply namehere.blogspot.com/atom.xml

C'mon Y! what were you thinking? I have to admit I wont be using Y! 360 simply because Blogger does all I want and Y! 360 seems like a pathetic attempt to lure market-share from Blogger (dont get me wrong Y is great an all that just not when it comes to blogging)
