Just wanted to take a minute and let everyone know some of the things I am thankful for. I don't like the holiday of Thanksgiving because too many people just jump off into it without knowing correct history but then again it may be the only time of year they get to see their loved ones together at a table!
I am thankful first for the love of the Father, without Him all would be meaningless; I am thankful for getting custody of my daughter--she can be a handful but she's my heart! I am thankful for the man in my life, Scott and his family--they add so much to my life and they probably don't even know it! I'm thankful for my online family--you guys listen when I vent, advise when I'm stressing and pray for me most of all! There is no way to thank you properly but THANKS anyway! I'm also thankful for the cold I have--it could be worse by far--for the ability to get out of bed by myself and use the bathroom by myself and to be able to bounce back with the prayers of my friends!
Now I hope each of you will take a minute on Thanksgiving and reflect upon your lives. Are you showing how you are thankful or are you stuck in negativity? Life is as dramatic as you want to make it and you can be thankful for the stessors you have because they are what make you grow! Here's to another year and showing others around us how to truly be Thankful!
One thing I have learned over the years is you never EVER completely know a person. Take me for example. I'm me 100% of the time. Now what you see is a part of me...my personality.

When you see me with my kids, that's probably the best personality you will ever see because it's when I'm the happiest. They are a gift I waited for years to have and I treasure them even when they are at their worst! When I'm looking into the Father's eyes, you see another personality--the reflection of all HE is. I got baptized this year as an adult and the only way I can compare it is to say "Daddy picked me up and kissed me". It was such an awe inspiring experience I couldn't sleep for quite a long time! When I don't feel well from the MS, or the Fibro, or just plain don't feel well--yup, another personality.
Why do I post this you may ask...well I have blog pages on almost everything out there and each one has a little different flavor. Each one shows a part of my personality that perhaps the others may not. You may get on one and get the spirituality side of me, another the creative side, and another the more feminine-adult side. Do you think that makes me flakey?? Well you are entitled to your opinion. But one thing I can tell you is it's me. They all are. I'm human, I'm trying to move through this life and enjoy the journey and arrive at the destination that few will actually be allowed to enter. The next time you see a different side of someone, remember this post. If they are having a day where another side of their personality is showing, take it in. It's something they chose to share with you. Don't condemn them because their hair is a mess or they are wearing something you don't feel appropriate. In fact don't judge them at all just bask in the glory of another creation that you actually get to participate with and you will forever leave an imprint in their life. This one moment in time will never ever come back--the memories yes but the actual moment never. Make each one count no matter what personality you are dealing with!
Think back to when we were growing up. No computers except in business, no microwaves, not a thought of cable, no playstations or x-box or wii, no where were these to be found. (OH MY I'M really telling my age now!)
Fresh air, jump ropes, football, basketball, washing cars, being back on the porch when the streetlight turned on, fishing, G.I. Joe, Barbie. Classic movies in black and white, Pillow Talk, Gentlemen Prefer Blonds, The King and I, James Bond--with Sean Connery, and the Rat Pack!
Ok I got through the court date and I'm believing it will work out to my benefit. Now I have to meet with an attorney to see if he will take my case in the disability hearing in Federal Court. This is not a mickey mouse hearing this is my life. Because my MS has progressed and not fully recovered from the last exacerbation, it is extremely important to go into court with proper representation or I'm going to come out on the wrong end of the stick!
So I'm asking you all to pray on Monday the 10th to have this man look over my files and papers and find enough information that he could easily take the case and present it in such a manner that is victorious and to my full benefit.
