Entry for December 05, 2005

I heard some think that pride is to be blamed for my actions. Guess what? I DON'T CARE anymore (Astagfirullah!).

A friend was telling me that from the 'short' interaction she's had with me, I tend to see things MY way, and my way only. She may be right, but I DON'T think I'm that bad. I really find it hard to understand how others don't see the reason in doing simple things of life, like being considerate of another person's feelings.

Imagine being in a hurry to arrive the office early enough, you caught up with this driver in front of you on the fast lane and he decides NOT to change lanes and allow you pass. You let that slide and change lanes yourself to the right hand lane (which you are not supposed to do, anyway) in an effort to overtake. All of a sudden, the driver you left to 'cruise' on the fast lane 'REMEMBERS' the function of an accelerator, and speeds up in a 'Let's see who's got a faster auto!' mode. This display of road rage (a.k.a lack of consideration and courtesy) usually lead to exchange of hot words and vile, rude gestures, if not fatal accidents.

So, naturally if I tell the story, I will be totally infuriated and (possibly) offensive in the language I'd use. That is how I will end up being the bad guy...  Just because I couldn't STAND, or UNDERSTAND disregard for basic respect for human feeling!Image
