Bits and Pieces and Random Thoughts and Info
Couldn't resist!
I'll get pictures up tomorrow, but we have 3 more goats. A female named Pepper , and 2 males, Billy and Jack. The 2 boys are currently seperated, since they were never castrated. They are all Pygmy goats, and all really sweet (other then the boys being horny.) We'll get that taken care of shortly! Pepper is about a year and 4 months old, and the boys are 8 months. Lollipop will have buddies her size!
College starts tomorrow. Sounds like one class didn't make, but I'll know more tomorrow.
Finally got my businesses registered Friday. Town and Country Pet Sitter, Healing Hands Pet Therapy and March Hare Graphics. I'll be working this fall to get them up and fully functional. Then working for others will be a thing of the past.
Kinda busy, kinda crazy.
Work is interesting. The grand opening of the new hotel keeps getting put off, so I'm not exactly sure when I'll flip to my schedule. The manager is trying to work us as much as possible, considering, and she really doesn't want anyone to leave. We're waiting on internet and TV, but are online taking reservations for the race weekend in Sept. Hopefully we open, Wed. but it may be the end of the month.
HOWEVER! With the possibility of Hurricane Dean hitting the coast, we may actually open up Monday, letting everyone know that there is no tv and cable, but they're welcome to stay. Becomes kind of an emergency thing, and all of the hotels are bracing for it. :-( We'll see.
Dad got a new truck finally. He finally took pity on his Ranger. It was a 96 Ford Ranger with 276,000 miles on it. Excellent little truck, used and abused. We're still keeping it, as there's absolutely no value for it or on it. When he's outta town, we'll use it to get feed and stuff, so my car doesn't take the brunt of it. Dad ended up with a 2007 Ford F-150 XLT V-8 Triton. Nice truck, gorgeous truck. Blue. They're working on a travel-trailer, as it's cheaper to stay at a campsite then rent motels. So, dad will be all spiffy on his road trips now. :-)
Looking forward to school, just counting down the days. Everything else is going great. Rescued two kittens from a dumpster and managed to get them in a local cat rescue place, so they've got a chance.
Ty and I are doing good, it's amazing how the time has flown. I enjoy all that we do, and get a kick looking back on it all. He was talking today about getting our hunting/fishing combo licenses, as it's almost time for that. We'll also be taking a trip to Madisonville for a Coon dog Trials thing in September. I think it's coon dog, may be hog dog. Either way, I'm not to let him bring home another dog. Hahaha!
Can't think of anything else right now.

Here's a photo of Cinnabar. He's fitting in quite well. And will be another brat in the household. LOL!
Please note, he's in scruffy, shedding teenager stage. His puppy hair is coming out and adult hair growing in!
