Black, slim, and so sexy....

Nope, I'm not talking about myself ( i wish I were...), I'm talking about my new addiction... Yep, the title describes my new addiction... a toy. Just recently bought myself a new toy... A brand new Piano Black PSP slim and Lite with 4GB worth of memory! Been thinking of buying a new phone instead of this sexy thing for christmas, but the gamer in me insisted that I buy the PSP (there's always April for that new phone I adore... N95 you're next!). Well to those of you who don't know what a PSP is (and I doubt no one reading this post don't, hehehe) PSP stands for PlayStationPortable, It is not just a gaming console but this 6.7in x 2.9in is a complete geek in a box entertainment system. Why you may ask, PSP like I said a while ago is not just a gaming platform, you can watch movies, load it up with your favorite mp3 for some sound trippin', a photo viewer with it's own anti-aliasing algo that won't pixelize you picture if you zoom in, and wifi capabilities (meaning you can browse the web with your PSP, neat!). Aside from the basic features I've mentioned above you can also create your own application for this neat gadget with homebrew development. As of this writing several emulators are already available for download GBA, NES, PSX, etc. (Cool, since you can play your favorite Gameboy Advance games in your PSP), Comic Book readers are also available and tons of application are being developed by homebrew developers. The browser being used in PSP is javascript and flash ready thus you can check your emails, use web messengers, and the likes. For peripherals PSP has a what they call a choto camera 1.3MP camera that you can connect to your PSP to capture pictures, also PSP have a TV-out function so that you can output to a monitor the movie you are watching, etc (though the TV that you would be using should support progressive scan). All in all I can say that the 12grand I cashed out for this fine gadget is worth it.

For the greater good of God

I'm currently loving this song right now, this one came from Iron Maiden's Matter of Life and Death album listen here

For the Greater Good of God

Iron Maiden/Steve Harris

Are you a man of peace
Or a man of holy war
Too many sides to you
Don’t know which anymore
So many full of life
But also filled with pain
Don’t know just how many
Will live to breathe again

A life that’s made to breathe
Destruction or defense
A mind that’s vain corruption
Bad or good intent
A wolf in sheep’s clothing
Or saintly or sinner
Or some that would believe
A holy war winner

They fire off many shots
And many parting blows
Their actions beyond a reasoning
Only God would know
And as he lies in heaven
Or it could be in hell
I feel he’s somewhere here
Or looking from below
But I don’t know, I don’t know

Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is

More pain and misery in the history of mankind
Sometimes it seems more like
The blind leading the blind
It brings upon us more famine, death and war
You know religion has a lot to answer for

Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is

And as they search to find the bodies in the sand
They find its ashes that are
Scattered across the land
And as the spirits seem to whistle on the wind
A shot is fired somewhere another war begins

And all because of it you’d think
That we would learn
But still the body count the city fires burn
Somewhere there's someone dying
In a foreign land
Meanwhile the world is crying stupidity of man
Tell me why, tell me why

Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is

Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is

For the greater good of God (x8)

Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is

Please tell me now what life is
Please tell me now what love is
Well tell me now what war is
Again tell me what life is

For the greater good of God (x8)

He gave his life for us
He fell upon the cross
To die for all of those
who never mourn his loss
It wasn’t meant for us
to feel the pain again
Tell me why, tell me why

Hoping for someday...

Standing at the edge of the earth listen online
Blessid Union of Souls

I knew that this moment would come in time
That I’d have to let go and watch you fly
I know you’re coming back so why am I dying inside

Are you searching for words that you can’t find
Trying to hide your emotions but eyes don’t lie
Guess there’s no easy way to say goodbye

So I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth
Hoping that someday you’ll come back again
I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth hoping for someday... someday

Don’t misunderstand what I’m trying to say
I don’t want to let you leave this way
I want you to know that I stand right by your side

And I know this may be
The very last time that we see each other cry
But whatever happens know that I’ll…

I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth
Hoping that one day you’ll come back again
I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth hoping that someday
You’ll come back to me
I’ll be praying for whatever it’s worth
Believing that one day you’ll come back to me
I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth
Hoping for someday

And I know this may be
The very last time that we see each other cry
But whatever happens know that I’ll…

I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth
Hoping that one day you’ll come back again
I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth hoping that someday
You’ll come back to me
I’ll be praying for whatever it’s worth
Believing that one day you’ll come back to me
I’ll be standing at the edge of the earth
Hoping for someday

Waiting for someday Believing in someday Praying for someday, I’ll be…
Longing for someday Clinging to someday Cherishing someday, I’ll be…
Thinking of someday Dreaming of someday Wishing for someday, I’ll be…
Living for someday Counting on someday Knowing that one day…

I will see you...

Battle of hearts and mind

This is a song I composed last October 2, 2006. The band would probably use this piece this december will upload the recorded track after the gig this december.

===========================================================

Battle Between Heart and Mind
By: Ronald Karlo Jarilla
Create date: October 2, 2006. 6:48pm

Just stay there would you please
You're making it hard for me
I know this is wrong
Coz you deserved someone but he aint me

And though it's so plain to see
That everytime you're here with me
The world just stop
Spinning around and round and round

Chorus:
But I'm already owned by another
And though our hearts just say don't bother
My mind is saying fool look what you've done
A battle between heart and mind

(Interlude)

Dodging from the prying eyes
This thing we have that we're trying to hide
Meeting in awkward places
Trying to evade familiar faces

Why must we live like this
Always hiding in fear
Though the love we have
Is shouting out

(Repeat Chorus)

(Prelude)
(Adlib)

(Repeat Chorus

Outro: A battle between heart and mind(3x)

================================================

Disclaimer: I have not experience the above lyrics, I still want to go home and sleep in my bed hehehe peace out!
