Heather brought home a new puppy. A pure-bred Blue nose pit.......The poor thing walked so funny we took it to the vet (the reason she was given away I bet!) The vet said she was healthy but had broken her back leg. Well its been set and healing rather well. The cast has to be changed every 2 days because puppies grow so fast, well she hops all over and should have her cast off in 1 week!! Then she has to wear splints for 2 more weeks until the bone is completely healed.

The kids named her Branded Socks - Brandi for short as she has 4 white socks for her paws. She is such a loving puppy. Training her has been so easy, she just whines at the door when she needs to go out, how's that for easy!

let's see...yahoo won't let me into my mail but I guess its a step up as I couldn't connect to the Internet for almost 2 weeks....bah humbug!! Well at least I had time to shoot more film! Working with some new 4x5's and large format cameras...oh man I'm in heaven now if I could share that will people who love it as much as I do!

Last week I was moving stuff around and (just call me Grace!), I broke my foot....makes it difficult to get around....geezzz.....at least I wasn't holding anything valuable....my foot has turned some lovely colors...

Doing a photo essay on a well known fashion photographer....its so exciting...next I want to work on a series of landscapes....and doing research on Old Town....so much to do!

Half way through Feb already....wow...soooo did you do your taxes yet? hmmm.. The picture is of my mother and her GREAT grandson's hand..pretty cool eh?

Still working on putting on Mike's wedding. Anyone have any ideas? Suggestions? We're putting it together in a park....oh yeah, send your names/addys to Mike or me to get your invitation. Just a few more months until the ceremony.

Looking a few new gigs that are coming my way, once they are confirmed I'll let you know about them. Very interesting and exciting things to do. School is still going strong..oh my...going to two colleges at once is draining....and trying to get over this cough ....I heard its called the 100 day cough..oh yeah now there's something to look forward too, at least the pneumonia seems to be dissipating. Now if the grand kids could stay well for a bit.... Get everyone well, then the kids pick up a cold....*sigh*

Working in the studio..anyone need some modeling shoots?

Hmmm….I know it has been too long for an update. Life tends to get away from me! Let’s see in October, I had to drive to Tenn. to pick up my middle daughter. She was in a very bad domestic situation and left with the clothes on her and her children’s back. Now my grandkids are living with me…and if you have energy after running after a 2 and 4 year-old my hats off to you!

Let’s see was working at the hospital and going to school full time, yep they arrived just in time for mid-terms. Then my oldest grandson needed to stay with us and he is 8. They are all such sweeties….but let me tell ya yet again, going to school, working, babysitting and trying to start a business is hard work, and if anyone says different TRADE ME PLACES….*giggle* My friends, my groups and this blog have all suffered neglect. Tsk tsk….I couldn’t stand to look at the computer…that is when it was free…I’d try to sit down to update the blog or log into email and my eyes would just blur and I just couldn’t do it….needed to get some sleep!

Then the holidays hi….the little one’s first real Halloween, it was so much fun to dress them up and take them around trick-n-treating. The 2 year old kept trying to go into the house they were at, and then once he figured out the ‘trick’ he would run up and yell out “Trintret”…it was soo cute. We had the big get together at Thanksgiving with all the family. Christmas was wonderful with the entire family together (yeah we have a large family). Cooked three turkeys and two hams. Lots of food, fun, and laughter.
