Good by my friend and companion

Today my heart is heavy with the loss of my companion of 9 years.
Cujo (my dog) Has lead a long and happy life with me.
We have explored oceans, mountains, streams and many other pleasures that life here on this earth provides us.
His ablily to live life and enjoy the things he loved have slowly dwendled over the past year, and acknowledgement of this loss of drive, ambition, and health; has opened my heart to accept the passing of his spirit.
It is so hard to say goodbye but this is something that I must do and not let my ego drive me to allow him to contiue this painful and unsetteling journey.
He was loving till the end, joy in his heart and kisses before he left.
Cujo will be in my heart for the rest of my life here on earth. The time and journeys will live until the day I die and meet him again.

Goodbye my friend, loving companion, and partner.

I love you and will miss you forever.

If we can reach the understanding of what we actually are, there is no better remedy for eliminating all suffering. This is the heart of all spiritual practices.

Reflection

Desire is the root
of all things impure
to your spirit.
However, desire is not always a bad feeling.
Unselfishly it will give growth to the spirit.
If desire inspires one to work for the good
for all man kind and not ones self.
It is then that desire is good.
Dont be fooled by your society
Desire oneness

Love yourself and be awake-
Today, tomorrow, always.

First establish yourself in the way,
Then teach others,
And so defeat sorrow.

To straighten the crooked
You must first do a harder thing-
Straighten yourself.

You are your only master.
Who else?
Subdue yourself,
And discover your master.
