Personal & business blog for an artist, writer, webdesigner and online gamer
I've been really busy this week, although much of the work I've done you really cannot see.
I added several pages at Color-Your-Own.com as well as a Coloring Pages Blog. The Blog is mainly so you can subscribe to the RSS feed and be informed the minute new pages are up. Couldn't figure out any other way to make a feed :D
I added an entire section of articles about motorcycle care and more over at Vintage British Motorcycle Parts.
Almost all of my blogs on my own webspace got updates, Foovay's Cauldron, A Demented-Pixie on Books, Naturalist Notebook, LeFey, and Vegetarian Blog, as well as an update for JustHorseCrazy.com blog.
I probably forgot some things too!
Meanwhile, I've been going through some spiritual thinking and expansion. It's too early to get into deep details, and I'm not going to try and get into it on every one of my blogs, so if you are interested in this stage of my evolution - visit me at my Beliefnet.com page. I'm going to be doing my exploring over there, in a community of spiritual explorers.
I joined Twitter, and now I've joined fubar.com (I'm demented-pixie there) so if you'd like to try and catch me for a chat and belong on either of those groups, add me.
I guess that's the high points of my week! See you next week!
Everything starts as somebody's daydream.

I've added two new coloring pages at : That was fun, looking at all the cute lil' pony pictures :D I've added a page at Dog Clipart - Labrador Retriever Clipart There is a new article at Animal Nerd thanks to a kind person writing and suggesting it to me. If you have pets, I know you'll be interested in 8 people foods that are pet poisons. The big news is that Thursday I finally got the cover page and first part of my novel, Moving On online. It will now be online for anyone to read for free. I'll be adding a few pages every Thursday until it's all there. I do have a donation button up for it, but due to some of the adult content I've decided not to risk trying to put any kind of ads on it. Shaggy Chic Pets has just requested and received permission to put one of my greyhound drawings on a summer t-shirt - for greyhounds. She donates most of the profits from her sales to animal rescue, so go check out her store. 10,000 Birds, one of the best bird blogs on line, is having a giveaway of the book, Life of the Skies. It sounds like a great read for any nature lover, so go check it out. In bullshit stories for the week A woman was forced to pry her nipple ring out with pliers in order to get on an airplane by the airport guards. Homeland Security, or a way to harass even slightly alternative people? She offered to show the ring to a female officer and was turned down. Instead she had to pry it out with pliers while male officers turned their back and snickered. I'm reading "The Hidden Messages in Water" by Masaru Emoto. I love it when science and metaphysics meet with spirituality and discover they are one. What with the menfolk having no TV out here at all (it's Satellite or nothin' baby) they are watching movie after movie after...so I'm watching about half. I want to give a plug to "I am Legend". I love the message about spreading light in the world. It's a good 'un. Treated myself to a Peanut Buster Parfait at Dairy Queen while in town Wednesday. Those things are so good - so decadent - so delicious! I couldn't even finish it - although I had eaten a bit at Taco Bell, too. Thought I should eat something a bit nutritious and getting a little tired of our own cooking. I guess that's the high points of my life this week. Boring, ain't it? I kind of like it that way though. Spring is sprung, there are bits of green here and there and it's been warm enough to lay out in a bikini a few days, too. I've already had my sunburn for the year and am getting really dark on my arms. I love it here. :D Blessedbe Summer

Well, I have been trying to kill 300 emails that keep reproducing in my dpixie email box for some reason.
Been doing some adult work, mostly one page wonders that don't bear sharing, really. But, tell ya'what - go to Webitchtress.com and you'll find links to most of it, which will link to the rest of it.
I did some work on putting the novels on line yesterday and got bogged down in coding the template. I thought it would be easier to do in CSS but I think I'm going to end up just using CSS to set the colors and such and tables to get things positioned on the page like I want. Really doesn't matter that much if the novel is search engine friendly anyway. After consideration of the adult content, even in Moving On, I'm not going to put Google ads on. Probably just a "author accepts donations" button at the bottom. I'm thinking about a challenge. Like, get me the $600 I need to buy AdobeInDesign so I can publish my own, and I'll go hog wild finishing up novels and put up one free novel a month for the rest of the year - something like that. I don't want to kill myself but I think I need some sort of kick in the ass to get writing again. I read a couple of reviews of Moving On that were so good to me I almost cried.
I know what I want to write - but at the moment I am really putting all my energy into webpages, blogging, and art for Color-Your-Own.com. Speaking of which, I am officially completely and totally out of requests!!!! If you enjoy coloring or are on one of those games where you need pictures for your animals, feel free to email me or message or comment or whatever with a request for something you don't see. I meant to try and get up a page with an Easter Egg you could decorate, like the drag and drop pumpkin I did for Samhain, but haven't gotten around to it and don't see much point in doing it now. Next year.
I was pleasently shocked to see that the Easter Chicks, Ducklings and Rabbits articles had made it into the search engines already! That's FAST! Hey - if you haven't read it yet, please Visit the Squidoo lense version - it desperately needs some traffic love or it's going to vanish into the swamp of the lower 170,000 lenses. That's what I get for not pushing it - but I make more money and so forth in the long run off Animal-Nerd .
Ah - and my quote for this Friday comes from The Buddha:
We are what we think.
All that we are arises with our thoughts.
With our thoughts, we make the world. —BUDDHA
I've got to remind you that if you are into April Fools Pranks, be sure and visit the updated A Bakers Dozen - 13 Great April Fools Day Pranks for 2008 and may I just remind you that most of them are under $10!
And don't forget my new Trickster website. Only a couple articles up so far - got bogged down in research for the next one I wanted to do, doggone it. Bogged down seems to be my theme for the week.
Not that I haven't had any fun - this has got to be the funnest toy evAH if you search for images a lot - took like 10 minutes to download and install and I was off and running - it is so beautiful, so much fun, so EASY if you spend any time looking for images for things: PicLens.
Speaking of looking for pictures for things, don't forget to send your Pagan buddies an Ostara card (you're a day late - HURRY UP) from Fre-eCards.com.
And this just happens to come up right here in spring, when I'm thinking about chickens and eggs and so forth - Some really happy chicken eggs - scientists have genetically engineered hens who lay eggs that contain drugs that could save human lives. The cool thing is - it is CHEAPER to use hens to make these drugs! Mother Nature rules man!
And, hey, it's Friday right? Here's one more time waster.
Yeah...I guess I know what I've REALLY been doing this week, eh?
This morning I watched porn for two hours and called it "work" ;)
It is, I'm going to write a review and stuff. Really.
Okay, I did just add an article about some ancient human remains - very SMALL ancient human remains and the fey over at LeFey and uh...a tiny short and easy recipe over at Vegetarian Blog and sort of a digest of reviews at A Demented Pixie on Books so I haven't been completely useless today...
Have a great weekend and Happy Easter if that's your thing! Ancient remains proof of the fey? http://demented-pixie.com/le-fey/data/57.html
