Can't believe this almost a year has gone by before i wrote again on this blog , most of my entries were made on my blogspot account .
The year 2006 has been up to now fantastic with new people i met and friends which i made .
The acquisition of my car a Toyota Corolla .
Places i visited , i went to the UK for a month in August.

Back to Mauritius for the holidays already been here for 5 days now , have about another 5 days left , its been a blasting time catching up with friends and relatives .

Hi people just to let you know that eid is expected on the 3rd - 4th or 5th of November this year , which means next week we'll eat briani ...hehehhehe
.
Of course all that depends on the visibility of the new moon so a little patience is expected. Whats also good about next week is that there are at least 2 other public holidays (divali and some other holiday) so many people have already taken 2 days off so they get a full week of holidays... smart .

Apparently there is an epidemic in mauritius caused by a mosquito coming from zimbabwe , this mosquito carries a virus which causes inflammation of the hands and feet, along with symptomps similar to influenza.
So far a number of my friends and relatives have contracted the disease, I got news that reunion island was also affected by this and major desinfection was taking place in Reunion , and now also Mauritius.
Lets just hope that the change in weather (we are now going in winter), will cause those ugly little mosquitoes to die.
