This weekend was the culmination of what I suppose was inevitable. Early on, the amazing woman who was to become my Mistress, and I, agreed to impose certain safeguards upon our on-line relationship. And while those measures protected our personal lives, they also led us down a path which, sadly, ended in a cul de sac from which we could not move forward. So, she released me. I am no longer hers. I no longer wear her collar. And, lest someone get the wrong idea, no, I am not seeking another mistress. Some of my friends have expressed concern about our relationship, which I wrote about in my blog “A Visit(?) to the Dark Side”. As it turned out, it really was only a visit. But this visit changed me, and for the better. My Mistress provided me with just what I needed to put my real life in order. And, thanks to her influence, I am on a new real-life path which is higher and nobler than the one I left behind. Thank you Mistress. Though the time has arrived for us to sojourn apart from one another, you are, and will always be, dear to me.
