A Test??? On New Year's Day??
This is a test to see who's paying attention. It serves to eliminate people who are desperately trying to add "friends" like its a popularity contest in High School. Yesterday I helped my daughter, Cathy with her Christmas Party where she works part - time. She works with children at an apartment resident center for low income families. She had arranged for Santa to stop in for a while and visit the children. I know there are a lot of people with big hearts that help bring this joy to the children, and I met one yesterday.
Yes, that is his beard, yes, that his his hair, and you would be hard pressed to meet a more jolly and patient person. He listened to each of the children, answered their questions, read them stories about Christmas and convinced them (and me) that there is indeed a Santa Claus.
He was there for the children and they loved it. All but the smallest children warmed up to his smile and jolly laugh. When it was time for him to leave, he got a warm send off by everyone there.
This is my daughter Cathy in the picture with Santa, and my grandson Caden, who still isn't sure about the jolly bearded man in the red suit.
