The World Wants To……

Lisa A. wants to pass her permit test on the 1^st try. Gary F. wants to lose 5 ibs. By Sunday. Lindsey R wants to not be nervous about breastfeeding her daughter in public.

Jamie wants to stop biting her nails forever. Shekia wants a new motorbike for her birthday. John S. wants to be able to buy his wife the car she has been dreaming of by 2007. Kim G. would like her Grandfather to not be afraid of his upcoming operation.

Jimmy C. would like to win the lottery. Biro would like to buy his  next car with cash.

Jean H. would like to become a director. Karen M. would like one orphaned child to be adopted everyday for a solid week. Till they all have loving homes. Jonathan P- Deeply desires to walk and live in the Spirit in ALL things, as His Anointing flows without hindrance through relationship with the lady He has predestined, family, dear friends, ministry, job, etc. (Believe it or not, this is only one goal and desire, even if it is multi-faceted. Heehee. : P )

Amie B - My desire is to have a close relationship with my Lord, as a virtuous, god-fearing woman who seeks righteousness, patience and discernment, with agape love in my heart for all of mankind and knows her purpose! (Is that one?)

Jamie B - I hope to make it through my husband's deployment with my sanity intact.

Jonathan is going to Iraq. We weren't sure where he was being deployed to until today. Now we know.

Aside from that, we are facing a problem here... and we really need to get it sorted out. Like NOW. I'm trying really hard to be patient and wait for God's timing; it's just frustrating. Someone must have prayed for me to learn patience, because that is certainly what I'm being taught. Yuck.

Drill weekends suck. This time, it's a MUTA 6 (3 whole days) and they're going to Fort Hood, not Camp Maxey. He had to report to the unit at 11 am, and won't be home until Saturday evening. BLECH. Oh well, I guess this is a good time to clean out my compy, wash the floors, clean the closet, and do all those other chores that I've been putting off. And be assured that I'll get in a lot of reading. And Nintendo.

My version of Drill Weekend:

1. Clean up compy (delete old files, etc)
2. Burn the "car mix" cds that Jonathan wants
3. Mop the floors
4. Clean the bathroom (a dreaded job)
5. Clean and organize the closet
6. Keep kitchen clean (it messes itself up when I'm not looking, I swear!)
7. Wash sheets / Make bed
8. Clean bedroom
   
9. Go through the stacks of papers on the desk / Clean desk
   
10. Change the air filter
11. Clean out the car
12. Wash the car
13. Clean refrigerator
14. Begin cross-posting on blogs
15. Update Freewebs site
    
16. Catch up on reading
17. Re-organize bookshelves
18. Unpack those last two boxes of junk
19. Anything else...?

God may or may not have just solved the problem I referred to. I'm so confused.........
