Of the last 4 transgender homicides here in the greater Detroit/Ann Arbor MI Area: ONE has been prosecuted as I type this… He turned himself in. The other three are not presently being actively investigated.

The homosexual/drag queen/transgender movement got a boost on August 10 from CNN talk show host Larry King.

Dear Sirs,

Mr. King is a news personality. His job is to interview interesting people. For you to accuse Mr. King of giving the LGBT movement a “boost”, for having interviewed Ms. Stanton and a few other transsexuals, is nothing les than venomous hate mongering. Mr. King was doing his job. He is NOT obliged to support either the LGBT movement or you right-wing-fundamentalist movement [I refuse to use the word “Christian” here, as Jesus taught forgiving, love and tolerance… whereas you are attempting to insight homophobic panic.] He is only required to do his job and to interview interesting people in the news.

King interviewed a number of individuals who believe they were born into the wrong body and are seeking - or already have had - so-called sex change operations.

1. Your use of the word “believe” would seem to indicate that you don’t accept there explanation of there feelings on this subject. Therefore I’m forced to ask you for either your credentials as either a psychologist or research doctor, or the research/expertise you are drawing from. IF you are accusing others of presenting false or inaccurate information you need to present rebuttal information and not simply gloss over the dispute.
2. The term you are looking for here is either SRS –Sexual Reassignment Surgery- or GRS –Genital Reassignment Surgery- or Vaginoplasty. [Any of the 5 terms would have been acceptable.] Your use of “sex change operation” simply shows you to be uneducated in the subject you are attempting to discredit. In short; you are talking through your hat.
3. For thousands of years now the gender dysphoric community has maintained that they are born into the wrong body. The last ten years of research on the subject would seem to verify that Gender dysphotics are female brains in male bodies http://www.symposion.com/ijt/ijtc0106.htm just as they have always clamed. So why can YOU not accept this? What is it about these people that so infuriates you?

One was Jesse Lam, who is the father of two children and had a sex change operation four years ago. He now calls himself Jessica. He told King that he felt like a woman when he was a child. He also admitted that he considers himself a lesbian.

Yes? And what is your point here? Gender dysphasia and sexual preference are two separate eschews. Who a person is on the inside and who that person sleeps with have little to do with each other. Or perhaps you are upset that this person failed to be what the homophobic portion of the public demanded of her… “Hide in the closet, pretend to be a heterosexual male, and don’t make us uncomfortable.” The truth of the matter is that most gender dysphorics try extremely hard to make the rest of the world happy by fitting in… and being miserable. Eventually though the inability to be what they aren’t leads to extreme depression.

Another guest was Steve Stanton, the former city manager of Largo, Florida, who calls himself Susan. King introduced him as Susan on the program. Stanton, however, has not had a sex change operation, but says he's scheduled one.

Well good for her. I wish her a happy life. Why would anyone wish her any less? It’s really unfortunate that she lost her job because of the homophobic attitudes on her city’s board of directors. She dose have an excellent case though and my vary well set some new legal presidents and standards regarding transgender rights in the workplace before it’s over.

It also bothers me that you are using masculine pronouns and refusing to acknowledge her as female. It strikes me as just one more petty dig on your part.

Stanton described wearing women's clothing as "great. It's being authentic. It's being real. It's being who you are. It's been superb."

Yes? And your problem with her wearing women’s clothing is what? She may trick you into making a pass at her?

Later in the show, King interviewed Marilyn Volker, a liberal activist who counsels homosexuals and gender confused individuals like Stanton and Lam.

Ok… This is good, Interviewing people is his job. And interviewing the people with some expertise and authority in whatever topic is being discussed is just good journalism on his part.

According to Volker, "sex is between your legs, gender is between your ears, and who you're attracted to is who you're attracted to by fantasy and thought."

Wow. This Ms. Volker seems to be pretty smart. She understands the difference.

Volker described children who have a Gender Identity Disorder as "gender variant" children instead.

So what then do you purpose to call gender dysphonic children? I have heard a mother refur to her own child as “The family queerbait” when she caught the child wearing a dress. Perhaps that is more to your liking?

And you are advocating what? That gender dysphoric children be brought beaten into the closet, and try to be something they have no idea how to be?

A. You are wrong. Gender dysphoriea dose NOT lead to homosexuality. It leads to transsexualisum. In truth the percentages of heterosexual to lesbian male-to-females appears to be roughly the same as in the overall population.

B. Making the assumption that gender dysphoriea dose lead to homosexuality… Don’t panic. She will not rape you.

Excuse me? Once again you have proven your own lack of knowledge. Depending on the doctor you are talking with, there are as many as 32 sexes. The “line is not being blurred. It doesn’t exist. You are TRYING to define sex and gender in binary. Binary is a great way to program a computer but the real world isn’t all black or white, good or evil, up or down… male of female.
