Howdy Gang!
Long time since I posted here ... Was a little busy with running around for interviews. Which essentially means I was busy subjecting my poor feet to the highly unjust practice of squishing them into unfeministically gorgeous formal slippers! Nine West at that... "OUCH!" both pocket-and-feet-wise
I spent a net of five hours before this interviewing spree, in the mall. Completely ignoring clothes that called out to me, for the sole purpose of finding that "right" pair of shoes that would help build my destiny! Oh alright, I just needed shoes that appeared formal and that I could stuff my tomboy feet into and walk back and forth from the local PATH (local subway service) station. I thought I had done it... but my feet today tell another story!
Akin to Phil Collins' song "I called out to the man on the street... Sir, can you help me? I've got blisters on the soles of my feet... Where's the nearest cab, can you tell me?"
Oh alright! thats a little lame, but you get the picture right??
Well, here's a resolution for the day... As soon as those sodden shoes help me seal my destiny (or that of my career), I will invest in some no-nonsense-black, ugly, manly-but-comfortable shoes, so I can live it (destiny, that is) with peaceful feet!

Are job searches always this frustrating??? Its quite annoying not to know whats out there and yet know there's got to be some place that will hire you for the exact same set of skills that you've long since given up on!
Ah well! Just keep looking I guess and hope that lightning strikes and that one great job opportunity that you've been waiting for just lands on your lap with a resounding clap of thunder!!! Looking forward to that moment today... quite desperately!

Finally figured out the best way to grill fish today!! Pretty simple as Mom puts it... just needs a bit of marinading with the usual Indian spices and herbs. The best part is, if you use fat free yogurt for the marinade, and the right amount of spices, your fish will be not just healthy, but pretty palatable for the taste-buds of your American friends too! Also shopped for some girlie dresses today! LOL! I don't look half as bad as I thought I could, which am grateful for. I think I'm almost all set for the cruise. Really looking forward to that!
Oh look! Half the weekend's already gone!

That picture is for real!
Just starting on this blog today, thought I'd give yahoo a shot. I'm an infrequent blogger at http://vedicverses.blogspot.com for sometime now. Mostly use that space to publish my poems to the internet. Want to do a bit more writing than I do already, amongst a zillion other things that I really want to pursue in my life! Too bad that I have such a short attention span
There's a new hobby I started... video-editing! Its so easy to put together clips and photos and music and make a sound DVD movie out of it y'know! I really love the Adobe Premier Elements software. I've used Photoshop before as a web designer (an amateur one) and loved it back then, but Adobe just gets better 'n better. This of course for novices at video-editing, a la moi mais oui!
The tough part though is unless you're out vacationing, you don't quite know what footage to collect!! Am still learning...That's it from me for now. The real test of the user-friendliness and attraction of this blog space would be how often I return to post on it! Will keep testing it folks!
