WPPI 2007
The WPPI conference + trade show was an eye opener for me - I was thrilled to see famous photographers and listen to various seminars. I gained knowledge, but my wallet lost weight...a lot of weight!! (Did I mention "trade show"? )

All pictures were taken with my phone cam...so quality is not good at all:

Leica M8 (with the IR cure filter). Very solid & feels good at hand, but the IR filter - what a weird way to fix IR contamination!

The world that we cannot see...
It's thrilling to capture the vision that our eyes normally cannot see. It takes me a while to get to know how but I believe my effort has pay off on this shot!

巴黎點滴#4 - 回味無窮之ニ magnify

回想在巴黎吃過的東西, 印象最深刻的, 除了鵝肝和鴨腿, 便是朱古力。何解?

#1 - 在平均28度華氏的寒泠天氣下, Sindy 和我每天都靠喝朱古力取暖。

#2 - 和巴黎的朱古力牛角包(Chocolate Croissant)比較, 美國吃到的只能說是"牛角包塞朱古力"。

#3 - 你可曾見過超市或Department Store 用3到4條長走廊去陳列各種不同的朱古力?

#4- 對法國人花在製做朱古力上的心思與手藝, 只能說聲"甘拜下風"! (附圖的朱古力盤只有2只手掌多一點)

在巴黎, 朱古力是無處在的。或許應該說, 沒有朱古力, 便沒有巴黎。

巴黎吃的有好有壞,還是先說欣賞的。

最喜歡吃的, 首選是鵝肝, 其次是鴨腿。差不多每一次吃這兩道菜的水準絕對較其他菜好。尤其是鵝肝 - 在美國, 通常鵝肝是伴着多士吃, 但在巴黎卻有機會試到一些特別的煮法。我最愛的首推煎鵝肝伴菠蘿底加草莓汁。

自問一生中從未吃過這麽多鴨和鵝(肝)。今次可以說句今生無悔!
