Well what a couple weeks. Been to busy chasing ducks to post. Gettin down and dirty in the duck pen....ewwwwww! Talking like 3 showers a day.

Nice being to sleep till 7am. Won't last though, back to basics come Monday...

Missing flyball, haven't gone for 4 weeks now due to cancellations. Now it's over. Skye is bummed. Have to get a box for home so we can start something here. Still practicing with jumps though and she's doing great along with the rest of the crew.

Still working on the fencing for the sheep I want and horses.

Well no flyball over the weekend. People at dog shows. Skye was bummed, she kept grabbing her tug toy and ball and going to the car. So we busied ourselves and did some heridng with the ducks. There is a stock dog trial in May in KY I would like to go to at my friends farm. It would be nice to get Skye finished in STDs and STDd.

Colin is on H.S. team and doing great, will start the Showcase team when H.S. is over. Keelan is on 2 travel teams and now a rec team. I am the transportation coordinator....meaning I take, drop off, pick up, etc.etc.etc...UGH! I have started telling people when they ask me where I work I just say "transportation coordinator"...LOL

Great day at flyball. Skye is doing awesome. She is now going over the jumps to the box, retrieving the ball (never a problem there) and going over the jumps to bring it back. I am so proud of her. We have such a great trainer (Jane). I really love this sport. It is so much fun.

Used up all of my home made dog cookies so had to come home and make more. Met a woman here who has a grooming shop. She wants $50 worth a month. YIPPEE! Now if my kids and hubby would quit eating them. LOL Mail me and ask me about my pet treats.

Just got in from letting ducks graze. Boy was that exciting. No sooner did the dogs and I get them into 2 areas of grassy pasture 4 helicopters flew over, loud and low. The copters scared and scattered the ducks and the dogs went nuts barking at the copters. How dare those big bad birds come for their flock of ducks. Thank goodness I had 2 dogs out with me, they gathered their ducks up and put them away pronto. Big birds of prey those copters are. Good dogs! Bad helicopters!

Neighbor says the police patrol the area for pot plants and the electric company checks the big power lines.

Done herding for today. Time to flyball train.
