What is it about the month of October that brings a heightened state of arousal for us gurls? Is it something in the air from so many first time gurls getting ready for their public debut on Halloween? Perhaps “Alana” Gore should study global warming from our October femme hormonal rages. A GG friend of mine once said “ This time of year a girl can’t find a pair of black stiletto heels in size 10!” She was right.

As I have written in past blogs, this is a special time when we think back to our first night out in those fantasy heels, nylons and an outrageous slut outfit that for some reason we thought would never call extra attention to ourselves. Sure sister! And hookers don’t want anyone to notice them.

I hope you “new” gurls will find this special part of your persona worth embracing on a regular basis. Tonight's the night we all dream of. Slipping on a slinky silver Versace halter dress cut to the navel and ridding just above our tushy. Strappy stileto heels. Perfectly painted toes, fingernails and face. Dripping in diamonds (or rhinestones).

What will happen during the limousine ride to the Kodak Theater in Hollywood? No one knows our boy dates are rented. Or that last night we weren't in designer fashion statements overlooking the City of Angels. No, but we were wearing Hollywood statements from our friend Mr. Frederick down on the Sunset Strip. His slutwear and stripper platform heels were designed to seduce another lipstick sister. And we did just that... looking more like porn stars than Hollywood elite.

They'll never know. And we'll never tell. Unless Ellen outs us. Giggle.

I just read a gurl-blog sharing how this particular sister was making a conscious effort to try different flavors of her femme persona. While most all of us experiment with the cookbook for being a gurl, this was the first time I've heard someone express this as a plan of action.

Yes, we were both exhausted, physically and emotionally. What fun!
