A lot of you know that I worked with the Laurens County Safe home in South Carolina for quite awhile and I was fired because I would not do thngs that were illegal concerning Grants funding that Safe Home. This is common knowledge, nothing different there. However, the Rooster has come home to Crow! Those in power have abused that power not only against persons, but against the Government. Bad Move!

The Safe home is suppose to be just that. A safe home for the abused. Unfortuntely; greed, lies and power bosses show no such services being directed to clients in an appropriate way. How sad.

I am blogging this to let you all know that not all is what it seems. The good are used and abused and the "bad" are rewarded with money, perks and who knows what else. But that never last. That has now been proven. The "powerboss"will be found out in court and the innocent will be thanked for helping to put them where they belong- In their place, where ever that may be. County jail? DOC?

We will see when this all washes out.

Safe Homes for the abused are run under Federal and State grants that you are precisely told where to spend the money. Anything beyond that specific use of funds is an offense I wouldnot want to face. So, check out where you go for help if you are in a domestic Violence situation. Get help, but be sure you are getting help from the right people. If you are in this place- DO NOT HESITATE- call your local Sheriff's department and get yourself in a safe placeand start your life over. There is life beyond that situation and you have the strength to do it- So- do it- Care for yourself. you will be glad you did it in years to follow. Think of both you and your children. Get help!Good help is out there and Florida, thankfully, has a great program connected to the Sallvation Army. That is a good place to start in most states in our Union. Just DO IT!

Go placidly amid the noise and haste, And remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly & clearly; and listen to others, even the dull & ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud & aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit. If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain & bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing future of time. Exercise caution in your business affairs; for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals; and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself.

Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity & disenchantment it is perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth. Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue & loneliness. Beyond wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees & the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be, and whatever your labours & aspirations, in the noisy confusion of life keep peace with your soul. With all its sham, drudgery & broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.
