Joy, Joy, Joy

This I recall to my mind, therefore I have hope. It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you; and you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.

Instead of your shame you shall have double honor; and instead of confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: Therefore in their land they shall possess double, everlasting joy shall be theirs. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation. The kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as you are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may be glad also with exceeding joy. For the joy of the Lord is your strength. Joy is the flag that is flown in the heart when the Master is in residence.

I pray also that the eyes of your heart my be enlightened. Do not lose heart. Somebody knows how not to lose heart. There is a way of looking at life, and that those who discover it are able to live from the heart no matter what. See that the parables and metaphors of living brings you a glimpse of the eternal, awakening your heart to the deep truths of life. Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. You are never a great person when you have more mind than heart. Greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. Sleepwalking through life is not listening. In order to find our way out of these woods, we must return to the heart. The subject of the heart is addressed in the Bible more than any other topic – more than works or service, more than belief or obedience, more than money, and even more than worship. But of course, all those other things are matters of the heart. And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength. Jesus called this the greatest of all the commandments – and notice that the heart comes first. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. Your word I have treasured in my heart; that I may not sin against you. These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. The Bible sees the heart as the source of all creativity, courage, and conviction. It is the source of our faith, our hope and of course our love, which is the very essence of our existence, the center of our being, the fount of our life. There is no escaping the centrality of the heart. God knows that; it’s why he made it the central theme of the Bible, just as he placed the physical heart in the center of the human body. The heart is central; to find our lives, we must make it central again.

This is a life changing experience for me. I have never known anyone that I know that posses the gift that you exercised before me tonight. I am a firm believer of God but this here has increased my faith all the much more. As I sit here and read the first message you sent to me and you were asking me what it meant it was of what had taken place in my life very shortly before you sent it to me tonight. This evening before I had received it. God is so powerful He knows what we need and when we need it. You have restored my faith in God just by sending me this message just like when I needed it. How was it but from God for you are mere man and a Holy vessel of God there would of been no explanations but that it was God's power working through you. Like I was telling you I was feeling that God had forgotten me and now I know that God loves me and has not forgotten I believe I can go ahead and run this race for the high calling of God. I will be a more happier person when I am to learn my place in God and what work He has set for me to do. So that I may be obedient to Him. For I know that time is very important of how we use it to God's glory.
