First off isn't this a beautiful picture? I think it's soooo cute. Now I just hope I don't have two to feed. lmao
Ladies...I"m curious about breast feeding, I'm thinking of doing it for my son, some people say it shouldn't even be a thought, that all mothers should breast feed. And there's a saying that a lot of black women don't breast feed. We'll I'd like to know if any of you breasfed or not, if so why, if not why not? Or did you do both? FEllas I'm taking your inputs too. lol.
Have a great day! ![]()
Like many people, Campbell bought an extended warranty for her laptop when she bought it from Best Buy, and she took advantage of that when the power button broke off after a year. Best Buy accepted the machine for repair and said it would be ready in two to six weeks. But six weeks passed and the computer wasn't ready. After three months of ruthlessly hounding the company, Best Buy finally admitted it couldn't find the machine.
Ultimately, Best Buy offered to pay her $900 for losing the machine... as a gift card. She countered that it had originally cost over $1,100, not to mention all her data that was now gone for good. She demanded $2,100, and Best Buy simply ignored her.
At this point, Campbell was made aware that all her personal data on the machine could lead to a major identity theft issue, though Best Buy never filed their legally required notice that she was at risk. That was the last straw, and she filed suit for $54 million, representing herself. Best Buy has since upped its offer to a total of $4,100 if she withdraws the case. She says she doesn't expect to win, but wants to go to court anyway to force Best Buy to explain how her laptop was lost.
I have to agree that $54 million seems wildly optimistic, but it's amazing to hear how smug Best Buy has been throughout this process. Lowball, "go-away" offers that don't even value property properly, much less the value of the data inside it, are frankly embarrassing, and good for Campbell for making an issue out of it... even if she doesn't ultimately prevail.
Hey, I hope everyone had a wonderful day yesterday! Rather you had someone or not to spend that day with remember GOD woke you up so that's more than enough LOVE on Valentine's Day! ![]()
This V-day for me was very very nice! First off....GOD blessed me with my good heath and strength, my son was jumping around in my tummy and my family was straight. After working My husband took me to the new Water Works restaurant at the art museum. When I say beautiful I mean just that!
They had candles lit, soft music, and
pedals on the table. The meal was sooooo good,
I thought he went in the back and cooked it. lol You know my baby is a chef. It was so special because the art museum is where we had our first kiss
and we really love it there. I recommend that restaurant for any romantic occasion. And this was also special because he knew all along he was taking me there but had me book a room and worry about what to do (good thing I didn't have to leave a deposit. lol) knowing all along he had made reservations there. Anyway it was cute. But the cutes thing was this.....he said that on this V-day he wanted to include our son, although he isn't here yet, so he gave me 2 red boxes, one small, one big. And inside the small one was a plush snoopy and woodstock doll!!!! I almost fell out my seat! Anyone that knows me knows that Snoopy is the theme of my sons room and it's been Hard finding snoopy in the stores. It was so cute!!! And the second box was a gap outfit for our son...which is so adorable!!! My little man will look so cute in this! And he also gave me once we got back home a hand made jewelry box he made for me, with my pictures inside. I saw him doing it but thought nothing of it. lol I mean...These were the best gifts he could have gotten for me! Gifts for our son, and a romantic dinner for me
And it doesn't stop there....Tonight we're going to get our sons nursery set and Saturday he has reservations for us to go on a lunch cruise
I cannot wait!!!
Although I'm not going into details about my night, lets just say..he was about to call outta work today. LMAO. Oh and unfortunately I have no pictures of us because we both forgot the darn camera, but don't worry we're taking professionals soon, and I hope I remember it on Saturday
Hope yall enjoy the belly pics too
