GAMESTERS OCTOBER 2007 PARTY - Write-Up
* Saturday October 20, 2007
* 6:00pm – 1:00am+
* Hosted by Crystal & Sam
* Location: Spring (N Houston)
* Theme "Halloween”; menu of scary foods!
The October 2007 Party was Hosted by Crystal & Sam in Spring (N Houston). Though this wasn’t a costume party, costumes were encouraged, and almost everyone made it! Crystal does go “all out” for the décor - the Halloween decorations were cute and fun to see! I especially liked the “Mr. Potato Head” Pumpkin at the front door – Ooooooooooo Spooky!! *LOL*
ATTENDEES
* Crystal & Sam (HOSTING) – Jessie (Toy Story) & Greaser
* Denise D – Halloween Spirit
* Joe C – Himself
* Kit & Michael and Rianne (12mos) – Titania & Oberon (Queen & King of Fairies - A Midsummer Night’s Dream) and a little flower fairy
* Amber and Brandi – Nudist On Strike and Drama Queen
* Virginia & Dean – Indian Maiden (then Psychedelic Hippy Wiz) & Troubadour
* Christy & Bill – Hoodie & Himself
* John G – American Freedom
While there were certainly efforts made for the costumes, I think everyone would agree that the best had to have been Kit & Michael, who were Titania & Oberon, the Queen & King of Fairies from Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. I believe that the cutest was a tie of Toy Story’s Jessie (Crystal) and Drama Queen (Brandi) – Very Appropriate for a 13yr girl! *LOL*
Again - I want to take a minute to Thank Anyone who picked up my (Ancient digital) camera and took pictures. It helps me out A Lot and I Love to see the variety of photos we end up with!!

With my late arrival from Corpus, MUCH THANKS to Rob & Christine for starting the event at 2:30pm. I managed to show up around 4:00pm, and got to play several games with Christine - it was a GirlFriend Thang!
The Champions location of Cafe Express has been a good venue for gaming, however, we've been discussing trying some different locations, so future events might be revolving - specifics will be sent when decided upon.
