I Have A Recurring Theme of Hope - Faith and Love - but Integrity, Honesty and Honor are Important to Me As Well.

6 on 1 Just A School Yard Fight?
OK

Finally had the chance to do some reading up on this Jena, La situation.

As I should have figured, it's not as many are portraying.

This is nothing more than a bunch of juvenile delinquents (with the rap sheets to verify it) that acted in a malicious and violent manner towards another person.

Where is Civil Rights Issue in All This?

Why is it that people find the time to stand up for some thugs that pile up on a single man?

I don't care what color a person may be but what is wrong is wrong.

Maybe I was just learned different but if there is more than one person in a fight, the other person best be tryin to break the fight up.

From what I see, the miscarriage of justice is in that these So Called Jena 6 are not facing more serious charges than they are.

That's my three cents.

Will They Never Stop
Will They Never Stop magnify
I had to post this add as I feel that it's an amazing piece of art work. Now mind you, I consider myself to be Christian and the only time I wear leather is on my bike, but this add is visually stunning and creative.

Now mind you, the Folsom Street Fair is an easy target for critics. To be honest, it's really not for those that gripe. I'm not certain why some people feel the need to criticize an evet that is not set up or designed for them. Do ya really think that someone is going to accidentally stumble into this event?

It seems that this add is the "outrage dujur" for the Christian Right to gripe and complain about. I'd say that as far as advertisements go, it certainly has done it's job at getting attention. My theory is that donations to these groups must be down or they need to rile up their base for some reason or another.

It becomes more and more evident that the groups behind such protests become more and more dangerous by the day. Granted, I feel that the majority look at such protests and just shrug their shoulders, but there are a few that take what they have to heart. It's important that all people remain vigilant to these groups. Even if you're not a supporter of the leather community or this event, we must speak out as to intolerance, ignorance and their pandering.

Entry for May 24, 2007
I've lived in this place and I know all the faces
Each one is different but they're always the same
They mean me no harm but it's time that I face it
They'll never allow me to change
But I never dreamed home would end up where I don't belong
I'm movin' on

Well, time for a quick update on my where abouts and happenings. Back on May 5, 2007; myself and some very good friends moved all my things to a new home in Marietta, Georgia. For those that do not know about Georgia, Marietta is a small town that is right outside of Atlanta.

Finally, another permanent place to hang my hat and park my motorcycle. I'm still getting settled and unpacked. People remind me that it takes a while to get settled but I'm getting there.

I still have some work to do on the house but that comes in time as well.

More to come.....

Entry for December 31, 2006 - A Year Ends, A Chapter Closes, A New Adventure Begins
To right the unrightable wrong
To love pure and chaste from afar
To try when your arms are too weary
To reach the unreachable star
********************************************************************************

As we pull this year to an end, I've had the opportunity to reflect on what has been a year of change, transition and inner reflection.

I've lost friends in passing and by choice. But as some doors have closed, others have opened and have brought new people that are special. Of course there remain friends and family that have been and will be cherished by me well into the future.

I think that I know myself better than I've ever known myself in the past. As a friend says, "I know what I want." And that I now do.

Well, I've come to know what I want but not necessarily how to achieve it or how it will come. Another friend says, "Let Go, Let God." And that's what I've taken to doing.

In this year I've come to being ok with being single. I know that you can't make something work if it's not meant to be. I know that it's not fair to you or to the other person if you do try to. (I suppose this is called "maturity.")

This year has allowed me to "clean up my act" in so many ways. I've taken time for me and what is important to me. Ya don't always have to do the things that the cool kids do to be cool.

So as I sit here in contemblation on New Years Eve; I look forward to a Bright
and Shiny New Year.

I Wish Everyone and Their's the Most Wonderful of New Years as Well.

Entry for December 24, 2006 - Christmas Wish magnify

From the King James Bible: Gospel of Luke

2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

No matter what your religious faith or belief, the Christmas Story and The Hope that It Inspires is one of the Greatest Stories In the History of Earth.

I wish Everyone:

* The Faith of Goodness in Mankind

* The Hope of A Better Tomorrow and

* The Love of All God's Creatures.

Merry Christmas To All ..... Both Near and Far!
