Just the odd account of what I get up to-yes it can be boring!

Well summer arrived albeit for a short time only.

We had friends visit for Thurs/Fri and managed a 15 mile walk in between loads of food & drink and kiddies card games.

Sat-Sun saw one of the few days we could both get out in the garden for a bit of sun and a BBQ, today cloudy again but warm.

Hope you all managed a great weekend like us.

Well the sun shone for our trip to Merryhill for the music festival.

We went on the Wednesday and despite a damp start which needed the site owners 4x4 to tow our caravan into position on the wet grass the evening brightened up.

Thursday was a day in Norwich hunting around the 'cheap' shops for any 60's bargain fancy dress items. No luck for me but K got a new dress for £5 (grey one in photo) in Debenhams sale. Lunch was at Adlards in Upper Giles St. superb as usual but get there quick sadly its on the market.

Friday was a visit to the village of Aylsham and then Blickling Hall.

The evening was the first real event of the festival starring an ABBA tribute band and supporting group. We had met up with a few members if the Midland Naturist Group-a great gang to be with. A few of us dressed up and as the first photo shows it was hard to tell the difference between us and ABBA, the trousers were one of Karen's old long dresses cut up and made into trousers for me.

Saturday we went to a local village Worstead which was holding its annual festival. The sun shone as we pottered about watching a marching band-dog obedience display-Percherons-old tractors and much more.

The evening was a 60's tribute starring The Fortunes another great event. Sadly I'd not bought any fancy dress but managed to fit into a spare one Karen had bought and with a pair of tights made a passable CD/TV but I drew the line at make up or shaving my legs.

In between all that we had great fun BBQ's and lounging in the sun drinking.

A big thanks to all the group who made the weekend such fun.

Roll on next festival!

We went to see Cabaret last evening in London.

It really was a decadent show and despite the grim political undertones was an enjoyable production.

I hadn't realized it had so much nudity and cross dressing but hey who cares great show with everlasting songs.

This evening we went to see Julian Clary in Dick Whittington at the Royal & Derngate Northampton with a group of friends.

When we returned from our recent break in the Lake District there was a phone in and discussion on Radio 2 in respect of the pros & cons of English pantos. An arguement being put forward that they had run their course were outdated politically incorrect and had no place in the 21st century.

Well after watching and listening to the show seeing kids from 4-80 years old laughing and enjoying themselves I say long live panto.

If the people who don't think it belongs in the 21st century-well they dont have to go thousands of others will.

Quite how Thunderbird 1 got into the story I may never work out but isn't that part of panto?
