First of all, I am very sorry that I haven't updated my blog for couple months...

Because my daddy is very very very busy at his work......

I don't know how to turn on this computer, otherwise, I would just write for myself!!!

Anyway,

2 days ago, we went to Hsin-Chu which is a county in the north of Taiwan.

You probably don't believe that...

Taiwanese are not very rich but our GNP was USD16,030... and it was the 21st in the world.

You really can't believe that...

There are some kids who live in the small villages in mountains have no shoes.

They don't have money to pay their tuition.

They don't have money to pay their lunch boxes.

They don't have enough clothes for keeping warm.

They don't have transportation for traveling between their home and school.

Maybe you can imagine that,

in a very cold morning, if you don't have warm clothes and shoes.

but you have to take 2 or 3 hours by walking and go to school...

It's really like a fiction story in 40's or 50's.

It's year 2007 now.... but that kind of poor people's stories are still continued.

So... we went to 3 elementary schools, (there are only 30-50 kids in a school.)

We gave them school bags,

Now they don't have to worry about if their books will get wet in rainy days.

We gave them new shoes,

Now they don't have to worry about walking barefoot to schools and get hurt by rock roads.

We gave them new clothes,

Now they dont' have to worry about if the weather is cold.

We paid their lunch boxes,

Now they don't have to worry about being hungry in classes.

You probably wonder how much will be the lunch boxes cost be....

well... it's not so expensive... actually, it's only usd15.00/per student/per month.

What can you do with the 15 dollars?

2 drinks? 2 hambergers? seeing a movie? ...... it's really nothing to us.

but it can save a kid, a Taiwanese kid who has the blood like us.

Somethimes, we complain and complain why we can't afford a luxery MercerdiesBENZ,

how come we can't be as rich as Bill Gates...

If you have seen those kids' smiles when they receive the gifts from your hands,

that kind of happiness is not MercerdiesBENZ can give to you.

We are not greatest people in the world, we dont' want to be famous in the world.

but we do want to do something we can do,

and help those people we can help.

Karma-Relief.... Suddenly I just realized,

I dont' earn lot of money, but I feel I am rich in my mind.

Those are my daddy's friends..... they are learning aboriginal dance.

we are preparing those gifts...

and I found a new friend, Darkie!!!!

The baseball team in TaiYuan is very famous, they have won the asia game before. Also there are a lot of professinoal baseball player in Taiwan are graduated from this school.

in the second day, we divid all the kids for 3 groups for playing games.... baseball, basketball and football. Of course I can't play baseball with them.... because I dont' know how to catch the ball...

After those games, we go to river for a afternoon break... my daddy and all his friends go swimming with me... Swimming is my favorate sport.... I am really good with it.

However, a girl just found out that there are a lot of clay (she mentions it's the softest clay she has ever seen) under the rever... So.. she starts to put all the clay on her face and whole body. Of course I do try some... but it seems not good for hairy skin. The girl is so happy and surprised... she keeps saying it's the treasure of this place and the mother river... well... I hope she really feels that her skin is more smooth after she uses the natural deep clean clay for her beauty spa. Somehow.... All the people just jump to the river and do it.....

see!!! dont' you think they just look like statues in the river!!!!

well... it's Mick.. he just pretends he is Venus in "The Birth of Venus"... But I don't really think Venus should be so hairy like this... I will recommend he to shave first. :-P

After swimming, it is our B.B.Q time...

Hi!! All!!!!

I am back again,

last weekend we went to Taitung with my daddy and all of his friends. The purpose for this trip is giving money to those poor kids to pay their lunch-box fee and giving new uniform to the poor baseball team. It was a 3-day trip... I was soooooooo tired... but I felt like "happy-tired" not that kind of "tired-tired". well... you know what I mean.

Aug/03 9:00AM

We wake up very early, and take bus down to the east of Taiwan. basically, it only take 5-6 hours if my daddy drives, but.... we take almost 9 hours to go there becuase the driver drives very slowly, but we feel very confortable. Even it's all about the mountain roads...

This is my first time to take long trip like this..... I need a very confortable seat.

Those are my daddy's friends. Well... I know you will ask me how they know each other... All of them are sort of bar friends... they go to the bars I used to go..... They get drunk most of the time, but they do some charity when they are not drunk sometimes...

Aug/03 5:30PM, we arrive to TaiTung..... TaiYuan Elementary School..

This is my daddy's friend, Stephen, he is already drunk.... (actually, most of them are drunk...already). the yellow dog is called "chubby"... he is not really chubby... but he is the dog of the school. (one of the school dogs... his wife is "madonna")

This is Mr. Chbby's wife, Madonna.... and their 3 kids... those kids really love me... (they follow me all the time!!!!) I hope they don't think I am their daddy... I am still single!!!
