Being grounded in the Bible is so important. Whatever field you are called to, you can make a difference. That difference is based upon how much of the Word you have inside you. 2 Tim 2:15 says, "Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Being knowledgable is one thing, but daily feeing yourself with the word is another. That time with God is essential for Godly living. That enables you to be able to walk in the spirit, and overcome the lust of the flesh. The holy life is what is required for effective witnessing.

Holyness is the key, whether your a doctor, lawyer, accountant, engineer, or truck driver. Without that holyness, you are what the Bible calls a carnal Christian, and you really are about as happy or less than someone who never met Christ. That is because the real life that is available to you, you are not achieving because of the sin nature that is out of control. The control comes with the word. The word is what must be used to combat satan. It is was Jesus used when tempted by the devil during his 40 day fast in the wilderness.

If you are going to be an effective witness, counselor, minister, or whatever you wanty to call it, you must be in the word on a daily basis. This is how you become closer to God, and bring other people closer as well.

Just because your a Christian doesnt mean you have to through your mind away. It was God who gave you a mind, and figuring out the universe is part of the fun...

In my life, I am trying to progress. Education moves foward, from elementary school, to high school, to college, to grad. school, to a "real job." In my personal life, friendships deepen from good time pals, to deeper frienships, where you can really give and recieve help on real life issues. One major issues is just getting organized. Not having your room ,apartment, garage, or house be a giant mess.

I have friend, who is a really smart guy, but his room is a complete and total mess. The furniture arrangment doesnt even make sense, and their are papers everywhere, and nothing is in order. Well, as we have become better friends, I felt that is was time to say someting, and I did, and he agreed that I could help him clean up his room. Now he is so thankful, he can actually move around his room, find things, and has decided to go though a bunch of stuff to get organized. I feel that God has a great plan for his life, but that was one giant in the way that he had to slay.

Getting organized doesnt have to be like Jack Nicholson's character in the movie, "As Good as it Gets," not to the point of ridiculousness. However, your ways need to be in order. If your socks go in every direction when you get home, and there is one in the corner that has not been washed for weeks, there is probably a need for some better habits.

Anyway, getting focused in life on your vision, and on your destiny will definetly require getting organized. Papers in order, clothes hung up, books in place. Also, if you can't keep your house clean, how are you suppose to run a church, business, or even government. 'Cleanliness is next to Godliness," they say, and I think that is true.
