Well, today is Cinco De Mayo! I'm excited. We're going to BBQ some Carne Asada and I'm making Taco Bean Dip/Soup. I plan on drinking lots of Mexican beer and a few shots of Tequila...should be one hell of a night!! Anyhoo~

Things are going good here. My Mom's flying in next week. The kids, Nick, and I going to Disneyland! Then the best part though, my mom's giving Nick and I a MUCH NEEDED vacation. We're going on a road trip to Vegas for 4 days!!! No kids! YEAH! I hope I remember more than just the ride there and back ;-) We plan to party our 4 days away!!

Ashton and Amelia both had birthday's this month. Amelia caught a horrible stomach bug, so we had to cancel her party :-( So, Disneyland is going to be her big birthday surprise, she has NO CLUE we're going! I can't wait to get a picture of her face when we pull up and she sees where we are at!

Ashton is doing better at school. He's having a bit of trouble with the picture schedule. We can't use PECS until September, so the ST is pretty bummed about that. I honestly don't think he NEEDS to start PECS now anyway. He's doing awesome with the PRT. He has picked up some bad behaviors from the other child in his class. Now, lucky me, has a child that screams an ear piercing scream all the time!! UGH I'm not sure if this other child hits himself or not, but Ashton has started hitting himself really hard when he gets mad and today hit his Therapist quite a few times. I need to ask his teacher what' going on there, or if this is just something totally new. 

Well, I got to run. I have a Mexican feast to get together! Feliz Cinco de Mayo

Okay, so I know....the beer I'm drinking isn't Mexican in the picture...that was another night, but very appropriate for the occasion ;-)
