In high school and as a young adult I used to write poetry and small stories. So this is a sample of a couple of poems.

Entry for July 14, 2007: THE HOLY BIBLE

THE BIBLE CONTAINS THE MIND OF GOD, THE STATE OF MAN,

THE WAY OF SALVATION, THE DOOM OF SINNERS, AND THE HAPPINESS OF BELIEVERS. IT'S DOCTRINES ARE HOLY, ITS PRECEPTS ARE BINDING, ITS HISTORIES ARE TRUE, AND ITS DECISIONS ARE IMMUTABLE. READ IT TO BE WISE, BELIEVE IT TO BE SAFE, AND PRACTICE IT TO BE HOLY. IT CONTAINS LIGHT TO DIRECT YOU, FOOD TO SUPPORT YOU, AND COMFORT TO CHEER YOU. IT IS THE TRAVELER'S MAP, THE PILGRIM'S STAFF, THE PILOT'S COMPASS, THE SOLDIER'S SWORD, AND THE CHRISTIAN'S CHARTER. HERE PARADISE IS RESTORED, HEAVEN OPENED, AND THE GATES OF HELL DISCLOSED. CHRIST IS ITS GRAND OBJECT, OUR GOOD ITS DESIGN AND THE GLORY OF GOD ITS AND THE GLORY OF GOD ITS END. IT SHOULD FILL THE MEMORY, RULE THE HEART, GUIDE THE FEET. READ IT SLOWLY, FREQUENTLY, AND PRAYERFULLY. IT IS A MINE OF WEALTH, A PARADISE OF GLORY, AND A RIVER OF PLEASURE. IT IS GIVEN TO YOU IN LIFE, WILL BE OPENED IN THE JUDGMENT, AND WILL BE REMEMBERED FOREVER. IT INVOLVES THE HIGHEST RESPONSIBILITY, WILL REWARD THE GREATEST LABOR, AND WILL CONDEMN ALL WHO TRIFLE WITH ITS SACRED CONTENT.

Entry for February 04, 2007: I found this on s slip of paper while cleaning and I really don't know the real author, but as you read you probably will feel that the Lord would really say this.

My dear child,

There is something blazing in my heart that I yearn for you to know and hold on to. And this is it: My love, which came down to you in the person of my perfect Son, Jesus, is complete, full, unchangeable, and eternal. It is the one gift that circumstances can neither alter nor steal away. Nothing you will face in this life is powerful enough to come between you and my love for you. There is no tragedy, no sorrow, no hardship or adversity that can pull it under or wear it out. Nothing natural or supernatural, nothing dead or alive, nothing in the present or the future can ever erode it or corrupt it or cause it to budge a single inch! My love will be your one constant in the shifting landscape of a transient universe. It is an open door when you are hungry and homeless, a warm embrace when you are lost and alone. It is a safe harbor when you are tossed by the storms of life and a roaring fire when the world has turned you out in the cold. So hold this truth as a treasure in your heart.

Entry for January 30, 2007: If your religion, your spiritual quest,

your attempt to find consciousness and

enlightenment, does not lead you ever

deeper into unconditional love, if it does

not lead you into a deeper awareness and

compassion for other people, if it does not

continually inspire you to acts of loving

service to other human beings, it is a farce.

It's a waste of your tme.

Heaven is my goal;

ways died in water and

I was renewed in His

Spirit as I rose
