Book worm...September 15, 2008: qIm sorry everybody i have been real scarce...This masters is killing me. I have never written so many damn papers and used my brain like I have. Man I have lost sleep and brain cells reading half this crap.

Whose damn idea was it to get my Masters...they need their A$$ kicked....UGGGGHHHH!!!

Thumbsuckers...August 20, 2008: Miss Amaya is now sucking her thumb. Both my older two sucked their thumbs. I was trying to break that habit but I didnt get a head start. I can take a pacifer away at one (although I have seen some big ass 12yr old babies...(over exaggerating) still with pacifers in their damn mouth. That pisses me off to see a 4 yr old with a damn pacifer in their mouth.

Anyway...She just all of a sudden grabbed the end of her blanket (like Alysa did) and started with the thumb.

Me and my ex husband tried everything to get Michele to stop sucking her thumb...thumbsucking medicine (which was disguisting...it made me gag), hot sauce, you name it we tried it...she just didnt give it up until she got a little bigger and was around other kids. Alysa on the other hand can careless (Im talking right now...YES!! she still sucks hers).

My mother sucks her thumb (STILL) but only when she goes to sleep, my uncle who is 66 yrs old, my cousins...Im like damn is it a family gene going on?

Thumbsucking is a natural way for a baby or toddler (my addition...and some big ass adults) to comfort themselves. Generally, many parents are not too worried with their child's thumbsucking habit until concerns over teeth issues or the embarrassment of being a thumbsucker in school becomes a possibility.

I didn't suck my thumb, fingers etc...several years back we found ALL of my pacifers when we were cleaning out my grandmothers pantry she use to take them out my mouth and throw them on the top shelf. There were about 6 up there. LOL!!

Did you suck your thumb? Do your kids suck their thumbs and if so how did you fix the problem if you fixed it?

Bernie Mac...August 09, 2008: The number of famous people dying at the hands of conventional medical doctors is increasing at an alarming rate. Today comedian Bernie Mac (best known for appearing in Oceans Eleven and The Bernie Mac Show) died today following hospitalization and treatment for pneumonia. At the young age of 50, Bernie Mac joins numerous other notable celebrities who have died while being treated with conventional pharmaceuticals or chemotherapy

Pneumonia is an infection that fails to be properly handled by the body's own immune system. Bernie Mac's immune system, it turns out, was suppressed by pharmaceuticals due to treatments for an autoimmune disorder he was previously diagnosed with, called sarcoidosis.

The most common treatments for sarcoidosis are dangerous steroids (like Prednisone) or immune system suppressants like Methotrexate. Following his treatment with one or both of these pharmaceuticals, Bernie Mac was described as having his sarcoidosis go into "remission." That's conventional medicine's code word for masking symptoms with dangerous chemicals while ignoring the underlying cause of the disease.

"Sarcoidosis," meanwhile, is just a fancy-sounding name for an imbalanced immune system almost always caused by dietary imbalances and exposure to toxic chemicals through processed foods, pharmaceuticals, personal care products and other environmental sources (like pesticides or cleaning solvents). Bernie Mac didn't really have sarcoidosis; he was merely given that label by doctors who attached a fancy name to a pattern of symptoms that Bernie Mac expressed.

So rather than addressing the underlying causes of his autoimmune disorders, doctors pumped him up with more chemicals that suppressed his immune system. From there, Bernie Mac was a fatal pneumonia case just waiting to happen, because at that point he was walking around with a suppressed immune system.

Since being diagnosised with MS (Multiple Sclerois) in 1992...I have been staying away from experimental drugs my doctors wanted to treat me with. A lab rat I'm not!! I guess I have been really conscience to what I am putting in my system. I am a question asking person when it comes to drugs from the doctor. I aggrevate the hell outta my neurologist every time he suggests something new...Im like a 2 yr old going, "WHY???" I am very familiar with the two drugs named above Prednisone (steroid) and Methotrexate (which is a drug that can cause an abortion and causes alot of other health issues if taken.

Its just sad because Bernie Mac might have been saved after reading this article and all the unnecesary drugs he MIGHT have been taking but not actually treating the underlying symptoms, but my spirtual side says it was just his time to go. Its the Lord's will. Who am I to argue?

Alot of good people have been leaving lately. The people we WANT to go will be around for a long damn time getting on our last damn nerves.
